Upgraded GRBL 1.1 Control Board with Cooling Fan for 1610/2418/3018 DIY Laser Engraving Machine USB Connection avec Offline Controller Pour 3 axis CNC

Purchased this along with an upgraded spindle, and am very Bagot with the result.

After buying on of the more expensive laser engraver kits listed on prime and having to fight with broken components out of the box I took a stab at getting my engraver a little upgrade with this board. The addition of limit switches makes life easier and with minimal work you end up with a really nice set up.The only real complication was finding the right .hex file to correctly flash the board with but the files are easily found with a quick search.

Worked perfectly to replace a CNC (GRBL) laser board on my eleksmaker clone.I had to switch my wires around as the TTL and negative were backward, and set the parameters accordingly and I was up and running - and engraving in less than an hour.Only gripe - the fan. A large heat sink is always better than a small fan. The bearings have gone, but they always do in fans this small!

I bought this to replace the control board on my CNC that popped when the spindle jammed. The picture shows a board that is identical to my current board. Unfortunately that is not what I received. It does work OK, and has an extra socket for an emergency stop switch, but the connections for the limit switches are of a different type of plug. This means rewiring my switches so that they fit, which is not a 5 minute job.After contacting the seller we came to a compromise so that I did not have to send it back. The customer service was very good (allowing for the time difference) and they were very keen to sort out the issue.If you are ordering this as a replacement board then be prepared that the board shown may not be the board you receive.

Poor performance for a Milling CNC machine. Cannot handle medium large gcodes, it just struggles, GSender begins to receive random errors, if executing offline, after a while everything slows down up to a level the job just stops. Do not recommend.

Laser wasn't working moved wire's about at cable end stepper motor going in wrong direction moved wire's on connector works fine now.

Has ideal plastic enclosure to replace the old grbl controller. No modifications required but I made modifications anyway because the fan that is on this controller was quite loud.
