Stopped working just after 2 uses
Cannot even return now. I've used it to connect my HP mini PC display port to my TV. It just stopped working and just heats up.

Works as expected and supports upto 2k(1440p) (probably can support 4k)
The only converter that supports 4k via conversion from dp to hdmi. Works as expected at reasonable price. Can't ask for more.

Pricey but works very well
Does exactly as it says in the description. Got a wide monitor for myself and none of the other cables or adapters seemed to be quality or to be working. This one though is a little bit pricey but works very well. The hdmi side of the adapter gets a bit hot, but hopefully it doesn't reduce its life.

Not working with Caldigit TS3 Dock station to convert DP to HDMI monitor (Active mode)
Not working with Caldigit TS3 Dock station to convert DP to HDMI monitor. The dock station does support connecting an HDMI monitor using the Display Port ( if used an Active DP to HDMI adapter, which this Bluerigger one claims it is). But it doesnt seem to be working. Not sure if its a faulty adapter, or it doesnt support active conversion properly. Either way its being returned now.
