These are very comfortable headphones for long journeys or for lounging around and not being too intrusive. The battery life is amazing and the sound quality is up to Sennheiser standards. Noise cancellation isn’t the best but it’s sufficient. I use them for meditation and they’re amazing with Binaural Beats and I can get into a meditative state very quickly which I can’t do with other headphones which is a testament to the sound quality.

Good quality. Sit over ear for comfort and cutting out external noise. Functional styling. Setting up with multiple devices via blue tooth could be easier.

I waited a few months to write this review so I'd have time to see what they were like. As it stands I'm rather impressed, though for the price frankly I should be. They're comfortable to wear, which for me is important as they're worn every day and often for long periods of time. The sound quality is incredible and the microphone I'm told is crystal clear. The battery lasts a ages and is relatively quick to charge. The noise cancellation is fantastic which allows you to immerse yourself in what you're listening to. I have two issues with them so far. 1) the bluetooth connection can sometimes be odd/slow. It also occasionally will disconnect from my phone when someone calls/video calls. Then you have to turn them off and then back on again. Also they seem to have an autopay function with my phone, so if my laptop stops playing music and my phone is connected, it'll just start playing music which can be alarming. 2) the controls are almost all touch and I detest touch controls. Brushed the headphone against clothing or an arm? Now you've muted a song, paused it, turned the volume up/down etc. It is irritating and unnecessary. Proper buttons of some form mean you can be confident to hit the right button without looking. Touch makes it a far more finnicky attempt.

Excellent noise cancellation. Big-ear compatible. Sound lacks deep bass outright but is otherwise well balanced - their app needs some work. Settings can be adjusted with iPhone’s equaliser in Music so above is not a massive negative. Case is a bit flimsy but is compact - not hard shell. Includes mini USB charging cable and plane cable connector/adaptor. Ear cups feel premium. Light on ears. The extendable arms could have been 2-3 notches longer but personally ok.

Really difficult to know what overall rating to give these headphones! They're a mixed bag, and whether they're a good choice really depends on your priorities. Starting with the best features, then moving to the more disappointing... 1) The excellent Put simply: voice quality. This was the priority for me (like so many of us in 2020/1 who want the best possible experience on phone and video calls). I researched extensively and was surprised how many manufacturers (and reviewers) don't treat voice quality as a priority. When you listen specifically to microphone samples (try the DHRME channel on YouTube), you realise how many 'highly rated' headphones have a microphone that simply is not fit for purpose. These Sennheisers are excellent in that respect. Everyone I talk to can hear me very clearly, and vice versa. As long as you have access to a Windows PC, you can also adjust the level of "side tone", i.e. how much of your voice is fed back into the earphones. (Without this, it's a bit disconcerting not to be able to properly hear your own voice while you talk.) A shame though that you can't do this from a phone or a Linux device - the only way to do it is by connecting a USB cable to a Windows device. 2) The decent The active noise cancellation is not bad. It acceptably cuts out annoying noise in my environment, although it isn't the noisiest. There definitely are headphones on the market with better ANC, but as I say, this comes at the cost of poor voice quality. (If I was buying now though, I might check out the Sony XM4s again with their newest firmware which seems to have improved voice quality.) Comfort is pretty good. You might feel a bit warm after extended use, but not really sore, even with glasses. Battery life is good - no problem using them all day. The charging port is Micro USB rather than USB-C: an issue which motivates some people to a burning fervour, but not me. 3) The bad The headphones can connect to two devices at once, but Sennheiser has really messed up the implementation of this. Rather than mixing the sound between the two devices, it tries to actively switch, something which is jarring and slow. Let's say you're listening to music on your phone, and your PC makes a ping sound when an email sound comes in. My cheap Taotronics headphones handled this fine: you simply hear the ping over the top of the music, which goes on playing. So surely this will work just fine on the far more expensive Sennheisers, right? Wrong. What, in fact, happens in this scenario? The music stops. The ping sound is played. 10-15 seconds pass in silence. And finally the music starts again. It's maddening. So you'll either end up disabling most of the sounds on Windows, or just keeping the headphones connected to one device at once. With that off my chest, I'm still overall not unhappy I bought these - but I would recommend them only if your #1 requirement is call quality.

Good flat frequency response. Just had to add a little bass boost in the MP3 app to get the depth of kick drum I like to go with transparency everywhere else. Telephone callers report good audio from the mics. Noise cancellation works best on steady audio noises like whine from motors. Reduces but not completely eliminates annoying on train announcements. Cancellation effectiveness also depends on the angle of the noise source to the headset. I prefer the good audio quality so roll with these cans that are noise reducing rather than noise cancelling.

I use these for film editing and occasionally for watching some programmes online. I have poor hearing and often have difficulty in comprehending the audio on a radio or TV in a room. However, these have perfect sound. My exasperated wife could confirm that the external noise cancellation is superb. I’ve had cheaper headphones in the past, but the quality of these are vastly superior.

Bought these as I was looking for a good quality pair of Noise Cancelling headphones, I wasn't disappointed! Connected to my phone with no issues. The sound quality is just what you'd expect from Sennheiser, hence the 5 stars!

Upon reading tons of reviews about the PXC550-II Wireless, I decided to give it a shot to see if it's worth the hype. These headphones are lightweight yet have a very premium feel (especially when you find out the kind of technology they've used) - kudos to Sennheiser for that. The right earpad is touch-controlled instead of the flimsy buttons that other headphones have. With just a swipe of the finger on the earpad, you can adjust volume, change songs/videos and enable Transparent Hearing. Battery lasts for a good 20-30 hours, depending on your usage of the Active Noise Cancellation feature. You can also personalize your listening preferences with the Sennheiser Smart Control App. Overall - Comfortable, classy, premium and built for audio lovers.

Excellent casque à réduction de bruit, ayant eu le PXC 550 de première génération il est tout aussi excellent mais plus sobre par son aspect full noir mat et avec l’ajout d’assistant vocal. Je ne suis pas d’accord avec certains commentaires qui parle du manque de graves ou autre, les graves et médium sont bien présents mais il faut bien évidemment télécharger l’appli sennheiser afin d’avoir des preset pour le style d’écoute (boîte de nuit, cinéma, réalisateur, neutre, voix).

Hd 4.50 ile kıyaslarsak, daha duru ve daha sakin bir ses sunuyor. Ses seviyesi(db) yetersiz diyen ruh hastalarına kanmayın, kulağınızı kanatmak değil amaç, müziğin zevkine varmak. Hd 4.50 kullanırken, kendisinden daha pahalı kulaklıklara göre daha iyi tiz ve mid ses/enstrüman seçebildiğimi fark edince çok mutlu olmuştum. Bu kulaklık o deneyimimi bir adım öteye taşıdı. Baterinin cymbal vesaire tizlerini o kadar güzel yansıtıyor ki, beyninizde bir bateri titreşiyor sanki, gerçekten çok güzel hisler bunlar. Hd 4.50 ile fark edemediğim, bu şarkı zaten kalitesiz bir kayıttır, bundan daha fazla ayrıntı çıkmaz dediğim şarkılarda bile inanılmaz ayrıntılar çıkardı karşıma. Bu kulaklık, premium segmente adam akıllı girebileceğiniz bir kulaklık. Rakipleriyle kıyaslarsak, sony öyle çok bas ağırlıklı ki, benim asabımı bozuyor neredeyse. Hayat ve müzik bastan ibaret değil. Ekolayzırdan bas'ı şuursuzca fullemek gibi bir hissiyatı var o kulaklıkların. Diğer sesler düzgünce seçilemiyor, üstün codec teknolojisine ve frekans aralığına rağmen. O kulaklık, müzikseverler için değil. Anc'si de kulağı elle kapatmışsınız gibi baskılıyor kulakları. Daha iyi yalıtıyordur belki, ben fark edemedim fakat ben zaten anc'yi kolay kolay açmam, aşırı gürültülü bir ortamda olmam lazım ki açayım... Anc'si sennheiser'ın çok rahatsız etmeyeyim ama engellemeye de çalışayım usulü çizgisinde yine. Kullanımı rahat, 4.50'ye göre tüy gibi hissettiriyor ve saçlarımı kıstırmıyor kulaklığı takıp çıkarırken. Kulağa baskı yapmıyor fakat kulak etrafını hızlıca ısıtıyor. Bu ısınma, giderek artan değil, ilginç bir şekilde, sabit kalan bir ısınma oluyor. 4.50'yi kullanırken bazen su gibi olurdu padleri. Touchpad'i sıkıntısız çalışıyor ama kullanmayı öğrenmek lazım. Parmağınızı havada sallayarak kulaklığa denk getirmeye çalışırsanız, yanlış komutlar verebilirsiniz. Kavrayıp, dokunduğunuz yeri bilirseniz, çok akıcı bir touchpad. Gelelim nötrden eksiye giden yönlerine. Uygulaması sıradan, bir iki özellik var içinde fakat aman aman bir ekstra sunmuyor, alexa da ülkemizde yok zaten. Türkçe şarkılarda, s ile başlayan heceleri bir tık yükseltme eğilimi var, yorumları görünce dikkat ettim, gerçekten öyle. Diğer dillerde dikkatimi çekmedi bu durum. Bateride güçlü yapan yönü, dilimizin yapımızdan dolayı, kulaklığın zayıf karnı haline gelmiş. Malzeme kalitesi fena değil fakat momentum 3 gibi kulaklıklarla kıyaslarsak özel hissettirmiyor ve daha narin duruyor. Momentum 3 ile yurtdışında pek fiyat farkı yok aralarında ama ben bu kulaklığı aldığımda 2 kat fark vardı ülkemizde, affedilebilir o yüzden :) Sesi fullerseniz dışarıya veriyor fakat sessiz bir ortam olması lazım ki yanınızdaki ne dinlediğinizi anlayabilsin :) Yine de mırıltı gibi bir ses gidecektir yandakine eğer yüksek sesle dinlerseniz, bu konuda mükemmel performans beklemeyin. Şarj etmeyi unutmuşum, yarım saat şarj edeyim çıkmadan, tüm gün götürsün diye bir olayı yok. Atıyorum yüzde 40 şarjla çıkarsınız öyle bir şey yapmaya kalkarsanız. 1 saat sonra bakarsınız ki şarjınız %20 gözüküyor, kara kara düşünmekle geçer gününüz. He planlı olup tam şarj ederseniz 1 hafta bile kullanırsınız, tüm gün kulaklıkla dolaşsanız bile(20 saatten fazla rahat götürür) Kısacası, benim beklentilerimi karşıladı kulaklık. Ayrıntıları ve net sesleri seven biriyim, bu fiyata ancak bu kulaklığı alabilirdim. Bilmem ne kulaklığının üzerine şu kadar para mı verilir diye düşünüp bu seviye kulaklıklar hakkında konuşan şuursuzlara aldırmayın. Benim geçiş yaptığım kulaklıklar(4.50) da belli. Araba alırken de, kulaklık alırken de durum aynı, ne istediğinizi bilin. Amacınız a'dan b'ye gitmekse bütçenizi esnetmeyin. Bu kulaklığı pek düşünmeden alabilecek durumdaysanız, daha iyi audiophile kulaklıklarla kıyaslayın, ben kullanamadım öyle kulaklıkları hiç. Eğer bütçenizin sınırlarındaysa bu kulaklık ve de rakiplerinden ucuzsa bir de üstüne, şu an tek seçenek gibi duruyor bu segmentte.

Comfort/build: Solid build. The headband feels very nice, however the plastic hinges where the drivers sit on feel a bit cheap. The earcups themselves are super comfy. Earcup padding is generous and the cups themselves are deep and accommodating for larger ears. Sound: Clean, balanced and very pleasant to listen to. I would describe them as very flexible, clear vocals for podcasts, tight bass for rock/electronic, large sound stage. Connectivity: Had some issues with initial set up (probably due to the app). Once up and running, pairs very quickly and recognises 2 devices easily (I have them set up for both PC and phone). Noise cancellation: These are my first ANC headphones, but I think they're very nice. No noticeable cabin pressure feeling. Other: Swipe controls work very nicely! "On the fly" switching for the ANC is very convenient. I like the option to go wired or wireless. Mic sounds clear on phone calls. TLDR: Very happy with purchase (got them on sale for 50% off). These won't disappoint

Ero da tempo indeciso su che cuffie wireless di fascia alta prendere. Avevo escluso Bose perché il suono non mi convinceva e mi ero focalizzato su Sony e Sennheiser. Invogliato da un'ottima offerta ho voluto provare queste PXC e non ne sono per niente deluso. Rispetto a tutte le varie concorrenti queste sono decisamente più leggere e i numeri non rendono giustizia. Ho potuto comparare varie cuffie sia mie che di amici e mentre con tutte dopo 40-50 minuti inizia a sentirsi un fastidio per l'archetto o sulle orecchie queste dimenticherete letteralmente di averle. Dopo i primi tentativi di posizionarle al meglio in quanto sembrano più strette (poi spiegherò perché sembrano) troverete la giusta posizione con cui potrete indossarle per ore senza il minimo sforzo. La prima impressione di eccessiva pressione è dovuta al fatto che se le andate ad allungare troppo esse arriveranno fino alla mandibola dandovi un po' di fastidio, una volta raggiunta la giusta lunghezza invece avrete un comfort senza pari, dato anche dai padiglioni che seguono la forma dell'orecchio anche per inclinazione. Altra cosa che aumenterà il comfort è la poca pressione sonora: con altre cuffie noise cancelling dopo un po' la pressione dovuta alla cancellazione è fastidiosa e avrete bisogno di una pausa mentre con queste ciò non accade. Passiamo ora proprio alla cancellazione del rumore: a me è piaciuta davvero tanto, mai ovattata, mai esagerata, in chiamata non vi sentirete isolati in quanto sentirete anche la vostra voce, insomma l'ho trovata decisamente buona. Per lavorare senza rumori è veramente perfetta. Le chiamate poi sono davvero cristalline. Chiunque mi avesse ascoltato tramite smartphone o Skype ha detto di avermi sentito in maniera perfetta, la voce non era metallica ma pulita. Ed ora la qualità sonora: Sennheiser è una garanzia. Le ho testate sia wireless che via cavo, con smartphone, lettore musicale, giradischi, in tutti i casi ho sempre avuto un suono pulito, dettagliato su tutte le frequenze, bassi presenti ma non invadenti, toni alti cristallini ma mai fastidiosi, medi chiari. Ovvio che non saremo mai a cuffie del calibro delle Sennheiser 660 ma proprio perché siamo nella stessa casa produttrice la qualità sonora sarà veramente alta soprattutto se rapportata alla dimensione delle cuffie e soprattutto dei driver e al fatto che il padiglione è di tipo chiuso. Aggiungo inoltre la feature del multipoint che è comodissimo per lavoro: avere PC del lavoro e smartphone personale connessi contemporaneamente è meraviglioso. Veniamo ora agli unici due punti dolenti di queste cuffie straordinarie: - ingresso micro USB per la ricarica: perché? Capisco voler risparmiare spazio ma sono uscite nel 2019 in cui ormai anche le cuffie più economiche hanno un attacco USB C (magari pure usato per l'audio), non ha davvero senso - l'equalizzatore presente nell'app: è disponibile un app con cui gestire diversi aspetti delle cuffie, perché queste hanno solo dei preset (che peraltro sono a mio avviso peggio dell'eq neutro) e non un equalizzatore a bande come le momentum 3 uscite nello stesso periodo e gestibili dalla stessa app? Onestamente non me lo spiego. A valle di tutte queste considerazioni vale la pena prenderle? A mio avviso sicuramente. Io ho potuto acquistarle sotto ai 200€, limite di prezzo sotto il quale sono un best buy assoluto, al prezzo abituale a cui si trovano invece (250€ circa) rimangono comunque un ottimo acquisto, forse al di sopra attenderei qualche offerta ma non deluderanno in ogni caso. Le consiglio soprattutto: a chi le vuole usare per lavoro, a chi le vuole indossare per lunghe sessioni di ascolto, a chi si vuole isolare, a chi nonostante tutto non vuole rinunciare ad una qualità musicale decisamente alta pur mantenendo la comodità.
