As with all Global knives, well engineered and made to a high quality. Excellent for preparing vegetables. A good buy, well pleased.

I have had most of my global knives for around 17 years and this last one completes my set. Great knives.

I would definitely recommend

A well designed, superbly balanced knife with excellent grip qualities. Some might envy those who cook in more relaxed settings, like private cheffing with good clients or even just cooking for one's own family, rather than the intense pressure of a professional kitchen. However, at this price point, I am a little surprised at the amount of maintenance required, especially in the form of accurate sharpening which can only really be done with a whet stone on a regular basis.

The quality of these knives are superb! I would definitely recommend treating yourself to one or as a gift to someone. I have one from the GS (Global Short) range which are slightly shorter and lighter.
