SkinSmart Daily Foot Cleanser for At-Risk Feet, Removes Bacteria to Help Avoid Infections, 8 ounce Spray

I am a diabetic and had my first foot issue with a wound. I won't go in to the not so pleasant details, but this product really turned it around for me when I was really beginning to panic. I was so worried my foot was about to turn and become really infected. That is when diabetics start loosing toes. (I did finish one round of doctor prescribed antibiotics which helped initially when I was not sure if it was infected or not.) I tried washing my feet with soap and water but had so much difficulty figuring out if I was doing the right thing with my wound. My wound looked worse when I was done and it seemed too much water on the wound made the wound look worse to me. This spray is just perfect. You just spray it on the wound and on both of your feet and let them air dry. It has been so effective and I truly feel my foot will heal eventually now. It has improved these few weeks I have been using it. As another review said, it is very difficult to open. I had to have my brother figure it out for me. That was frustrating that I could not open it. But, now that I have been using it, my wound and my feet look great. I leave my cotton socks off most of the time with my feet up when sitting in my recliner while it is healing and try to stay off of it as much as possible. I still have a long way to go before it is completely healed, but the pain has lessened so much and the wound is healing and getting smaller. I did see a podiatrist after I finished my antibiotics so she could inspect the wound and provide me with wound care directions. She gave me an ointment soaked "tape" that is used for burn victims and placed gauze on it. Believe it or not, the gauze put too much pressure on the wound and caused pain. So, again, I just wear my 100% cotton socks. A lot of this is just giving the foot the care and time to heal at this point. Other than that, there is not a lot doctors can do for me at this point unless things worsen. (unless one wants doctors to take invasive action on one's veins in one's legs.) But for now, it is looking very good. I saw another review about spots on a baby that this product made worse, but for wounds on your feet it works great. Even if you just want extra protection to keep your feet clean and destroy the bacteria, it is a great product to use between washing your feet the conventional way. I give this product the highest recommendation. It is a great part of a wound care or diabetic foot health routine. I also use Gold Bond Diabetic Foot Cream at lest 3 times a day on my feet and always wear 100% cotton socks since my feet are always dry due to the diabetes. I don's want them to chap or crack and cause another wound. Hope this review helps provide some options for people with diabetes who are not sure what steps to take for diabetic foot care.

Smells like bleach?

I have really bad peeling of my feet. I noticed since using this product for less than week it has helped with slowing down the peeling of my feet. If you use as directed twice a day... you won't be disappointed.

I have been diagnosed with diabetes 2 last year and have been looking for a foot cleanser. I wear pedicure baggies on my feet with large rubber bands around my ankles to keep from any moisture or water to get inside. I was using before this product nuetrogenia face wipes with salicylic acid on my bottom of feet and edges of heel and side of feet this really helped my cracks on my heels that I was getting fissures, I also used along with gold bond intense feet cream and at times Vaseline with cotton socks on. This worked great for a good year until my feet became very sensitive and times became to burn and itch. I have no cracks or fissures or anything else just swollen red burning/itching feet. Think I may be getting Nuero diabetes on my feet! Well about this product I took shower after taking a shower and taking my pedicure baggies off my feet, sprayed this antibacterial spray and I had instant relief. It was a cooling sensation and my feet felt so clean, make sure to air dry real good. Amazing product, very happy! New updated info- I get these bottles all the time for my feet, and the last two have not been sealed? Wondering if I am getting the correct product? The plastic does not go all the way up now onto the spray nozzle? Weird?

Short version: Yes, I recommend this product. It is great for multiple uses. Long version: I have bought multiple products from the SkinSmart line and have even given some out as gifts(last year and this year). Some recipients have purchased more on their own because they ended up loving them too. I was first introduced to the skinsmart line by a well-known YouTube dermatologist. You may know who I am talking about. She praised this product and with good reason. She made me aware of the same ingredient list for the different labeled products. So if this is out of stock, I can purchase other SkinSmart products labeled for a different use and have the same results. For example, I bought this for my face even though it is labeled for feet. I have used this product for many things. I will list the uses below that have worked for me or the recipients I gave these to. Mask-ne!! Since using this product on the mask area of my face, I have noticed that pimples rarely appear. If they do, it might be more hormonal and not maskne since the pimples I remember having were around that time. I recently also used this for backne and things look much more calm back there now. Eczema. Myself and several others have noticed a reduction in irritation and itching on our afflicted areas. Very soothing. Rashes. A few instances where stubborn rashes didn't go away, went away after this product. Feet(like the label states) and armpits. Helps reduce odors. I do notice that one spray didn't really do it. I guess it needed a little more saturation so I spray a few times to make sure the stink zone is well covered. I do also want to mention the packaging. The sprayer on this particular bottle (trigger style) is not as nice as the other SkinSmart bottles (push down sprayer with cap). The push down sprays produce a fine mist that is comfortable to spray on the face. This trigger one can sometimes spray large droplets within the mist. This isn't really a big deal to me. I recommend this product and hope it helps you as much as it has helped myself and others.
