1/8" Car Pinstripe PinStriping Tape Decals Vinyl Stickers 3mm Cars & Motorcycle

It is not often that one would use automotive pin striping tape on a mail box post but that is what I did. I used the orange 1/8" single pin striping tape to duplicate the original design on the mail box platform. Our neighborhood requires that all the mailboxes and post be the same. Mine had become faded over 12 years so I painstakingly repainted it. I freehanded a gold rectangular border (as well as the house number) but used the pin striping for the more narrow inner rectangle. Though the tape appeared to adhere well, I also coated the new paint and pin striping with 2 coats of UV reducing clear coat which I am sure will provide additional adhesion. I am happy with the product.

This is intended for pinstriping work, but it has plenty of other uses. I purchased it to mark out areas on my office desk where I have things such as my monitor and phone, which sounds obsessive until you get tired of a cleaning crew moving your stuff every night and not putting it back. It can also be used on a white board to line out grids, or to line out tournament brackets. Effectively anywhere you need a line that won't erase, but that can be removed by peeling it up, this works well. The 1/8" wide isn't the best at curves on a desk, adhesion is too poor, it's better on other surfaces like cars as intended. But it does the job anyway.

Not worth it. Tape isn’t clean cut, looks sloppy. I taped it after I washed my car (dried obviously) and it tore so easily and by the morning it was coming off. I took it off and wiped it with Clorox wipes to make sure the Dust was gone and I reapplied it and it came off again. Going to leave it on for now but will be searching for a replacement tape.

The spool fell apart the first minute of applying the tape and became a rat's nest of tangle. I had bought Supla 10 spools which was very satisfactory but I needed purple so I ordered this separately. I would not recommend this brand.

I use these these past couple make printed circuit boards as they are not effected by the chemicals I use

I use these for fingerboard tapes on violins and violas. It is a bice silver color that stands out and allows kids to see where to place their fingers. It sticks well and is easy to peel off.

I put this on motorcycle rims. It has been a year and they are still on. BMW dealer said stripe tape does not work on matte paint HP lightweight rims. However, this tape is on them and it looks awesome. I like this tape as it is not reflective and looks great on my black matte rims. you can see photos on instagram motozeal

Worst adhesive ever! Had to spray adhesive on tape to get it to stick. Color and size was consistent and it was easy to shape. But could not get it to stick to surface and did not stay where it was supposed to no matter what. Would not recommend this for any project that requires spot on consistency and strong adherence.
