I scoured the internet for reviews and comparisons when looking for a speaker for softball practices and other outdoor activities. I am thrilled to say that my Diamondboxx M3 meets or exceeds every good review I had the pleasure of reading or watching. Sure, it may not be as loud according to spec sheets but, when compared side by side in the real world, the volume difference is not noticeable to my ears. Sound Quality, however, is where this M3 really stands out and throws down a challenge to all other portable speakers as if to say, “bring everything you've got” and it still will not come close. The bass stays clean at every volume, the mid’s and high’s crisp, clear and beautiful. I have heard several including extensive Bumpboxx listening from a friend and the difference in sound quality is astounding. I cannot imagine a better sound quality from any portable speaker. I opted for the smaller battery and it still plays all day at normal volumes. I have yet to run it dead even during extended practices at high or max volumes either. Diamondboxx, you have an enthusiastic and loyal customer that thoroughly appreciates the build and sound quality of your Made in USA product. Worth every penny!

I’d have to agree with those who give the m3 5 star reviews. Really not sure what those who have complaints are hearing. The sound is just head and shoulders above the competition. It is a high end product, clean extended highs, clear legible mids and hard to believe detail in the bass from two small drivers. Flat frequency response so if your listening to head banger music that could benefit from an exaggerated low end you might want to look elsewhere, but I would still think it could satisfy that genre as well. It might not sound as loud as some, but the louder devices can’t hold a candle to the Diamondboxx in true high end sound. I’ve had a few of the JBL products which are very good at their price points and size and some others but after living with the m3 for years now, those sound low-fi in comparison. Thanks. Regards. 4.5 stars if I could do it, as I HAVE NO LEGITIMATE COMPLAINTS. However, I bought the M3 because, after much research, I was told it was "very loud." Upon receipt of the speaker, it's a fantastically beautiful speaker, sound is clear and beautiful. Best sounding speaker I've ever heard. Plenty of volume, however, I would not consider this speaker to be "loud". I believe my mild disappointment is the fault of YouTube, and no fault of DiamondBoxx. I expected ear bleeding volume, and got beautiful room filling music. No complaints here, but if you are looking for impressive ear damaging painful levels of distorted volume, this is not the speaker for you. If you are looking for a speaker with impressive room/ear filling beautiful tones and music, in a mobile small package.... This is the one.

High ends are good. Absolutely no base at all. Mine is retired.

Only came with GOLD turn knobs. Didn't see any other color in the box.

The DiamondBoxx M3 is a great Bluetooth speaker with near audiophile sound. I waited a month to post this review as I wanted to really put it through it’s paces. In a nut shell, it’s like have a pair of high quality bookshelf speakers in a small box. The tweeters are not harsh and the bass is tight. The speaker never distorts even at max volume. Very easy to use and build quality is top notch. I got the bigger battery and the battery charge gets you an insane amount of battery life. Made in California and they have great customer service. If you looking for big boomy bass, this will not give you that sound. It’s accurate sounding with tight bass and you can take it anywhere.
