The device seems to be built pretty well, and it has a ton of old school ports. A few doubles but that's to be expected with these kind of handhelds. Fun for nostalgia for sure.

The media could not be loaded. The video game console is packaged very nicely, and includes a soft fabric travel case. I wanted something that was rechargeable, because I am tired of buying batteries. I love that you can turn the volume all the way down to the off setting. I love the kids can use headphones if they still want to hear it, but I don’t have to.My child has been using it for quite a few days, and loves it. Last night we hooked it to the television, and things started out great, but after about 15-20 minutes , there started to be some issues. We finally deducted that it is the included AV cable that was causing the problems. The machine itself works fine, but the cable is bad. (Deducting one star for this reason). So, the kids tried using tape to position the cable, “just right” so that it would work. One kid even had another kid holding the cabling.I did enjoy standing in the kitchen, trying to give pointer tips on how to play Super Mario 3. I haven’t played it in probably 25 to 30 years, but I was surprised at how much I did remember. The kids did leave it hooked up to the TV for the full two hour time limit.Our current entertainment system is a Nintendo Wii. I have not purchased a game in years. I remember each individual game costing between $30 and $50. So, I feel that this game console is a really great deal. At least have your kids play through a few of them to find out which ones are their favorites, and then, if the machine dies, you can go and purchase something better, that has the games that are their favorites.

I like all the games that are in the device, but the screen quality isn't that good.

The game works well, but the power port is attached to the circuit board in a flimsy/cheap way that insures that it will break off after only a couple of uses. There is no way to fix it and the game becomes useless because there is no way to recharge the battery. Disappointing. Update: the company that manufactures this product contacted me wanting to resolve the problem. I told them what the issue was and they now will not respond. DO NOT BUY THIS OR ANYTHING MADE BY HigoKids. Worthless products.

Arrived with carry bag, analog a/v output and charge cable. charged quickly. Game buttons, on/off switch and volume adjust. Includes lots of games for first and second gen consoles. Most are in Japanese but play fine. Buttons are decent but have a bit of a dead feel. Great way to enjoy classic games on go. when battery gets low screen will dim but is bright enough to play in most lighting situations.

This handheld game console comes packaged in a box and includes the console, instructions, a drawstring bag, outdated tv adapter cables, carry strap, and a USB charging cable.The console turns on with an on/off switch on the left side and it has a volume scroll on the side on the right.As soon as it turns on, it goes to the game selection screen and you can choose any from the list. It is easy to navigate but most of them are in other languages.The speakers a really bad and most of the audio isn't clear. The screen is actually fantastic and pretty clear overall. The battery compartment is held on with one screw on the back and is able to be used with the included rechargeable battery or you can take it out and put in 3 regular batteries.The main issue, besides the speakers, is that if you bump the unit AT ALL, it will freeze. I didn't drop it, I just knocked my hand into it and it stopped working until I reset it.Overall, it's a pretty good gaming console with a variety of older foreign and English games that are all functional and able to be played. The speakers are just plain terrible and I guess so are the connections or something with the battery as it immediately freeze if you so much as bump the console.

Works great, super fun. Tons of games. My gamer 5 year old love it!
