They work great
I’ve trained for 15 years and these are by far the Best foot gear I’ve ever used, they fit perfectly and are super comfortable and do not move around or come off when sparring vary hard and getting kicked in the leg and I’d highly recommend

Solid Craftsmanship
Strong, solid craftsmanship. My Krav instructor thought they were an excellent pair to get. Still haven't used them yet in class but that time is coming. Most specifically, if you're a big guy (300+ lbs like me) with big calves, they adjust more than enough to fit that body type. I'm that guy at ski resorts who struggles finding a pair of ski boots because of my calves so hopefully, that's a great endorsement for some of you.

strong, light, great shin guards
i recently bought lesser shin guards for about 30-40. i returned them immediately before even using them due to their flimsy and weak and also uncomfortable fit on my legs. i told myself pay for a good brand and good guards so u dont get crap again so i got these. they are great. i just got them so i havent done a ton of sparring with them yet but they give a ton of protection as they go out to the sides of ur shin farther than the guards i am used to which is a good thing. they feel very light and normally i feel the shin guards to be bulky just because u are wearing big padding on ur shins but with these they felt lighter and slimmer than the ones i'm used to but feel strong and are not flimsy at all. i thought it was weird the foot flap is removable but when i got them and messed around with that i was quickly fine with it. the foot flap is also strong, light and protective and wraps around ur foot and velcro's to the rest of the guard pretty securely. it doesnt feel like it will fall off. feels pretty good. all in all, these are somewhat expensive shin guards but the quality matches the price. i like em a lot.

Sturdy and great, but a little small.
I've long heard of Fairtex, and finally decided to pull the trigger on this pair of shinguards. Solid construction, great protection, and easy to clean. I did notice some of the abrasion that others have mentioned on the instep from the foot and shin pads being separate, but connected via a Velcro tab, but my experience wasn't as bad as they described. A little rosiness, but no blisters or anything. The only caution I can mention is that if your calves are a little thick, you may want to size up. They come a little smaller. I had to return the Mediums, measured according to the chart, and size up to a Large, which fit great. This is why I gave it 4 Stars instead of 5. There's not much difference between M and L as far as shin guard length, but the main difference is the straps and foot guard sizes. Speaking of the length of shin guards, I really like how they're low enough to accommodate knee pads comfortably.

Great protection and movement
AWESOME Equipment! Just buy them! I use them exclusively. They stay on and pivot great when working kicks. Go with the low budget brands if you want. But, if you’re serious get the FAIRTEX brand.

Great as long as you are not tall (6’1+)
Bought for my son. He says they are amazing for the average male. He, however is tall (6’2) and skinny (31 waist) so he had to go with a size large for the length but they shift. For the correct length he would need an XL but they would be too wide. He says the padding is really good. He is a kickboxing beginner for reference.

Great shin guards.
Very protective shin guards without being too heavy. Stays in place really well while sparring. I will say the padding on the strike surface is a bit on the harder side, so training partners might feel more of a sting if you are a harder kicker.

The best foot / shin guards you'll ever own, you'd have to try pretty hard to hurt yourself in these bad boys. The padding is thick where it counts but not so spongey that you can't hurt the person whose head / ass you're kicking and because they're leather they make a good whack noise on bags and pads. Only trouble is, they look so professional that people will assume you're hard as nails and try extra hard when sparring with you, so you got to live up to them! I'm 5' 11" with size 9 feet and the medium fit perfectly.
