Great toy
I had this version of bee when I was a kid, at the time I was missing his mechtech backpack but it was still a good toy, transformation at first was a bit difficult but at 10 years old with a lengthy transformation as this bumblebee had what wasn't?. After 9 years I'm glad to have another copy with the functioning mech tech backpack it definitely brings back memories. I'd heavily recommend for a transformers fan like myself but to a young kid getting it for a present/gift I'd recommend learning how transform it properly to not risk breaking the smaller bits of plastic especially with how the arms fold in to car mode. Other then that Im giving it 5 stars due to it bringing back some good memories when I was younger and the love I have for the character.

Great figure, must have
This toy is absolutely great I got this toy instead of the human alliance because that figure is horrible looking and not movie accurate at all. This toy not only looks exactly like bumblebee in Dark of the Moon but it has many features that will keep you busy. Great for collectors and kids. Transformation is not as difficult as people may make it seem,if youve transformed optimus prime you can easily do the same with this bumblebee. Leader Class Bumblebee is not too much out of scale with leader class optimus but sentinel prime could be a bit taller. seeing as though in the movie bumblebee was half his size. But overall this toy is absolutely great highly recommended!

Very good product
This figure is so good as good it gets with his appearance seen in Dark Of The Moon. Transformation isn't so simple, but isn't a problem. The plugins are great, both the car and the robot are very solid.

Love the 'bee, hate the build quality
I bought this from Costco, not amazon, since it was a slightly better price. Bee takes quite a bit of patience to transform, although not nearly as much as the Optimus I got. The plastic pieces feel like they're about to snap. In fact, the first one I got was in bot mode and fell off a nightstand. When I retrieved it, Bee's arm had snapped clean off in a way that was impossible to repair. I swapped it out for a new one and figure I'll have to treat this one with kid gloves. They sure don't make these like they did when I was a kid (nor as tough as they appear in the movies!). Once transformed as bot or car, it's a very realistic model, so I'm glad to have it in my collection.

Impossible to change from Transformer to Car
I bought this for my grandson who is 5yrs. old for Christmas. I know he is rather young for this toy but he just loved it when he saw it online. It's IMPOSSIBLE to change from the Transformer to the "Bumblebee" Car. My husband and I have tried to convert it and it's IMPOSSIBLE unless you FORCE it and BREAK IT. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR "ANY" AGE.

Very desappointed grandson
I got this bumblebee for my grandson's birthday. The first disappointment was when he finally got the batteries were dead so he now had to wait for new batteries. Now he finally gets to play with it and one of the wheels breaks off. This is what he most desired for his birthday. After paying 64.99 for this toy I am very disappointed he didn't even play with for week only days. I will not recommend this toy. It is not made to be played with.

My son is happy
Good toy. And bee is a favorite TF char of my son (3y.o.)Don't be afraid of all that reviews about how difficult to transform robot into a car.For me it takes 2-3 minutes, and there no details that can be broken while you transforming. For kid, of course, it's more difficult, and he can only transform the toy into a robot.Cons - when toy is a car, there parts which scratch table (must be higher than wheels level); And it takes time to put robot's legs in some position to make toy stay stable.

Neat to look at....
We ordered this for our almost 5 year old boy. This is our first transformer experience. My husband is a Mechanical Engineer & has great admiration for the design that goes into these creatures. To be able to fold into such detailed objects is amazing. That said, we wonder just how practical they are for tiny hands. This particular model was over the age recommendation for our son, but, we still don't know any child who could successfully build this thing into either subject without adult intervention and or popping pieces off or breaking altogether (my husband got a little frustrated himself the 1st "go around." :)). Our son loves to fly Bumble Bee through the air & push his buttons, but as far as "transforming" him, he'll have to wait a while to be able to do just that on his own. Amazing Engineering Design feat, but, practical toy that our child plays with, not so much. Wish they had one with larger parts but without SO many small pieces for our little one's little hands. That would be a great way to jump start him into the Design Engineering field. :-)
