The magnetic blocks are similar to the higher priced Magformers. As stated similar but not the exact high quality thicker plastic that the Magformers sets come with. The difference is that the size is extremely similar (they are slightly thinner), but there are some more neat options like the windows, letters, and roof pieces. Young kids won't know the difference and in fact my daughter enjoys these more than her official Magformer set due to the variety of options and a much larger collection of pieces and the pastel colors. The Magformer set was expensive for us, I think it was 25 dollars for only 15 pieces at the time, as for this was 133 pieces for like 28 dollars. The pieces have not broken, and a bit more flimsier, but are not brittle that they break. We are able to build a Farris wheel, a small castle among other things and still have pieces left over. The pieces also work with the Magformer sets so don't worry.

This product completely surpassed my expectations.In terms of the material: overall a high-quality look and feel. Plastic parts are well finished and seem pretty resistant. Magnets are strong enough to build things without any issue. The coverings that go in the middle of the blocks also fit strongly. Ferris wheel is well-engineered, axis spins very well.In terms of the experience : 5 stars to the engineers who developed these shapes! It is amazing to see the possibilities of how these pieces fit together. The magnets are perfectly parametrized, it actually feels great to plug and unplug pieces. And it is easy to start playing, my 5-year daughter was creating things right away and soon the whole family was having fun together. We had a lot of fun creating things to spin in the Ferris wheel or to put over the wheels.Overall, great job! Would defintely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a toy that fosters creativity.

Nice set that’s compartible with the original magformers. Too bad my kids doesn’t like to mix them together during playtime; they are thinner, lighter, and different in color (my originals are bright and this set is pastel).What I don’t like:- the wheels that came with the set. The magnet fit loose and doesn’t stick to it very well, kids get frustrated when it falls off.- doesn’t have enough square magnets to make the ferris wheel that it came with. Too many triangle magnets.What I like:- magnet is pretty strong even when you compare to the original.- various shapes. Main reason I bought this set is because they have other shapes other than square and triangle.Overall, if you’re on budget and can’t afford the original, I’ll recommend you to get this set. But be prepare to get not 1 but at least 2 just so you can make that ferris wheel.

I purchased the 133 piece magnetic tiles as a gift for my 3 year old granddaughter. She was delighted! It was the gift she chose to open & play with at her party. Her siblings, ages 8 & 10, immediately joined her. They loved the blocks! They seemed sturdy and durable but she has only had them a few days so I cannot speak for long term. Although they have not yet attempted the ferris wheel they were excited to see the picture and the base. I am very happy with my purchase!Update: I shared a review for which the company promised a free gift. I followed their instructions but never received the supposed free gift. Don't fall for this! Whatever I think about this company for failing to keep an agreement, I do love their blocks.

The media could not be loaded. I bought these magnetic blocks to use in my Kindergarten classroom. I didn't know what to expect for the price, however I was amazed by the quality of this product. The magnets and structure are strong and durable. It also comes with many versatile parts to form buildings and cars. The magnetic blocks allow my students to use their creativity and imagination to build. Needless to say, my students love them! I want to buy a set for my home as they would be perfect for any kid. If you are looking for the perfect gift as well, look no longer! These are SO FUN!

The media could not be loaded. I thought this would not be as durable as they are! I have a set of these and a set of a name brand ones. My girls use them together A d they work well. The pieces could have just one long magnet strip or two on each side would have been better than the one piece that is there. My kids like them because, " I get to build things and fill them with my legos" "I like they have windows" "I like super shapes".... They Love them!

We have a similar magnet block set and my kids are always fighting over it, so when this came on sale, I thought we'd give them a try! They love the colors but it's harder for a 3 year to put all the pieces together. I think it's more geared for 5 or 6 year olds. We put together the ferris wheel first and unfortunately the little plastic pieces broke the first time we were putting it together. It would've been a 4 star if that wouldn't have happened. The other pieces seem really good quality though. I wish there were some solid flat magnet pieces too with this kit that my kids could use. And the magnets could be a bit stronger. Overall... super cute and fun if you're the one putting it together for them, but I wouldn't have been as ok with everything if I hadn't gotten it on a pretty good sale.
