These are big, heavy tablets of lined paper. My elderly father likes to write letters to people. He writes them out by hand, and will sometimes go on for four or five pages. When I looked to replenish his writing supplies, these tablets jumped out at me and they have been perfect. The paper is a heavy enough gauge that he's not tearing holes in it with his pen, or eraser. A nice pack of tablets at a great price!
