The World of The Dark Crystal

As a 80's kid, The Dark Crystal is one of my all time favorite movies. I remember being blown away by it back then , and still am today. The incredible work that went into making the movie still holds up today.

I bought this for my daughter but have been reading, looking and admiring the book throughout. I’m genuinely surprised!Tons of illustrations, sketches, paintings, translucent overlays and plenty to read too. It’s an oversized coffee table type book that’s hard bound. It’s very nicely put together. Over 130 pages and that’s not counting the bonus book of sketches included inside the back cover.If you have any interest in the Dark Crystal, fantasy illustration or just admire fascinating art, this is for you! This makes a nice gift that someone will want to keep for many years to come.

A friend is obsessed with the movie the Dark Crystal. I stumbled across this and gave it a chance. It was an instant hit!!! The illustrations, the depth of understanding it gives - it is simply a beautiful item! I was so pleased to give it - and the recipient was even happier to get it.

BEAUTIFUL AMAZING BEST WORK OF ART

I love absolutely anything with Brian Frouds name on it, and this definitive edition of The World Of The Dark Crystal is absolutely worth every penny. If you are a fan of Brian Froud, The Dark Crystal or anything fantasy in general, I highly suggest this book. Physically of a great made quality book as well. Explore the otherworldly art of Brian Froud and prepare to escape from the mundane world for a while!

Don't know how I missed this gem growing up but when I saw there would be a rerelease of this delightful book I immediately pre-ordered it. The artwork is amazing and it is a perfect read for either rainy or lazy afternoons. I don't own too many Dark Crystal books but knew I had to get this one.

A must have!

The book arrived in perfect condition from the seller. The book itself is visually stunning and full of lore from the Dark Crystal world.

Not enough of Froud's art in here. And that's why I bought it. I purchased his book on fairies and its' outstanding. Way better than this

Der Hammer! Versehen mit vielen Zeichnungen und Gemälden von Brian Froud, teilweise mit transperenten Overlays dazu viel Text, lässt einen dieses Buch gaaanz tief einsteigen in die Welt von Thra. Ein absolutes Muss für alle Fans des Films und der Serie! Dazu ist das Buch absolut hochwertig verarbeitet. Mit echter Fadenbindung und feinem Druck. Dafür ist auch der Preis echt fair. Oft bezahlt man mehr für weniger Qualität.Ein kleines Manko: Es ist auf englisch. Warum gibts das eigentlich nicht auf deutsch?? Das gäb normalerweise einen Stern Abzug aber da das Buch für mich auch 10 Sterne verdient hätte, bleibts bei den vollen 5.

Super bonito, no hay palabras para lo precioso que es. Además la historia la cuenta Augrah (no sé si se escribe así). Está en inglés.
