PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter (6.5 oz/2-Pack)

Good fix for a PB junkie
I was really skeptical when I ordered this. The big question was: would it taste and feel like PB? The answer is: yes. I've tried it on Triscuits, sprinkled over cereal and in a smoothie with a banana and almond milk. Not bad. I've even had it the old fashioned way: right off the spoon. Add some sunflower nuts and you've got "crunchy." Does it hold up against Skippy and Peter Pan? Not really, but at 45 calories per serving (25% of regular PB) , it's an acceptable alternative. If you are the kind of person who would eat fat free cheese while others turn their nose up at it, you will probably like this. Why not five stars? The price. At $6.00 a jar, it is a fairly expensive alternative when you consider the volume of PB it actually creates.

PB2 - A Macros Win
PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter has been a savior for me! I recently switched to If It Fits Your Macros (IIFYM), and I was worried I would have to give up peanut butter forever (since I keep my fat intake fairly low)! However, PB2's peanut butter totally does the trick. I usually eat it with one of those thin 100-calorie sandwich rounds, so that the bread doesn't overpower the peanut butter taste.I will say that it's no JIF, and there's none of the tackiness that peanut butter typically has, but the taste is there enough. Given the macros, I would say it's a pretty sweet trade-off.

Very Good
I love this peanut butter. I am on the Take Shape For Life (TSFL) or "Medifast" plan and I put it in my protein shakes I make. I haven't tried it by itself, although I did try a lick from my finger and it was very good. I just put in another order for the regular and chocolate flavor one. I have never tried the chocolate yet, but the reviews are good so I'll try it a few days when it gets here. Also, I have bought this from the store (Wal-Mart) in the past and the order from here on Amazon seemed way more fresh. I will keep buying this from Amazon.

while it has a different texture that a jar of regular peanut butter it totally satisfied my peanut butter craving
Wasn't sure what to expect from this product but had heard positive things so decided to give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised, while it has a different texture that a jar of regular peanut butter it totally satisfied my peanut butter craving. I've used it in baked goods, smoothies and on celery and its got the flavor that I had been missing since I gave up regular peanut butter. I'd recommend it.

It's amazing.
This may not be the cheapest option if you are buying in bulk. But as for the PB2 itself, it is delicious. It reminds me of my Peanut butter flavored granola i get.... I wouldn't be surprised if they use this or a variation of this.A million uses. If you think you can use a low-calorie peanut butter flavoring, this is what you want.

Great product!
Love this stuff. I wouldn't use it as a topping on crackers or whatever, but it is great to cook with. I use it with noodles, dry beans, on chicken and many other items. I love that it has the full taste but little fat.

Dog-Hacking Tool
Okay, this review is gonna be a bit weird, but here goes: I love the taste of this stuff, but it's not just for me. I have two big, shaggy hounds who absolutely adore it. Awesome, not only because I prefer to keep their diet low-fat, but because one of them has bowel issues and requires a low-fat diet. It's nice to be able to give him a safe treat. I sprinkle it over their supper kibble from time to time for a surprise. But wait, this stuff has an even better use! Now, my furry nitwits are retrievers. This means that they occasionally eat something that they really shouldn't, despite my best efforts to keep them under my hairy eyeball. Rocks, socks, drywall, shrubbery, and so on. When this happens, it's best to persuade them to return the offending item ASAP before it gets lodged somewhere expensive. As you who are owned by kids of the canine persuasion know, the easiest way to make that happen is a shot of hydrogen peroxide, but trying to pour that down their throats is no fun for anyone.Enter PB2. Enough of this powder mixed in their bowls with the dose of peroxide to make a thick paste and the pups snarf it right down. A few minutes later the potentially-vet-bill-causing item magically reappears and everyone's happy. Well, except the person who has to clean up the mess. Do yourself a favor if you have a dog who thinks that random objects are food, and get yourself a jar of this stuff. (NOT the chocolate flavored, obviously.)

Great for low fat, high protein diets!
I got this to help me with a low fat, high protein diet. I love the flavor and mix it with water to the consistency I like.

Healthy and no additives!
I would have never thought it would taste as good as it does. Fifty calories for two tablespoons versus 190 in regular peanut butters.

Good in vanilla ice cream
Probably you could find a lot of ways to use it. My favorite, so far, is to stir it into vanilla ice cream.
