Neewer V Mount/V Lock Battery - 95Wh 14.8V 6600mAh Rechargeable Li-ion Batter...

I'm using this V-mount battery to power my Sound Devices MixPre-II 10 field recorder. It delivers plenty of power for long recording sessions, eliminating worries with these excellent, but power hungry, recorders. My only complaint is I wish there were a better mounting option. I bought a SmallRig v-mount plate, which I've attached to the MixPre using the 1/4-20 camera screw built into the MixPre. Fine, but it is fiddly our to tight clearances to lock the battery onto the v-mount plate, and also to depress the battery release trigger because my finger is too big to fit between the battery and MixPre to depress the trigger. Not a total pain, but also not something you can do quickly without considerable concentration.

Instead of buying one large v-mount battery, I purchased two of these smaller Neewer versions (95- to keep weight light). Used them with a Bmpcc4k shoulder rig on 4 commercial shoots and they performed extremely well. I get about 4 hours out of each battery with the pocket4k camera with no external monitor. If you add a monitor, expect your charge to vary from mine. Neewer is quickly proving to be a solid budget brand. I suspect it won’t be long before Amazon buys them out and starts offering their products under the Amazon Basics brand name.

Really happy that I could find a replacement battery for my PDW-680. This battery is much better than the one that came with my camera and it's a fraction of the price of an actual original replacement. Expected it to be heavier than what it is, think it comes in right around a pound which is about the same as what I had. So far it has a long battery life and a charge that's about as long as you would expect. So, overall, I'm very happy with this battery and I would recommend it if you're looking for a replacement for your video cam.

I bought this battery from another vendor and had a great experience using it on the bmpcc4k. However, I took it out of my case the other day after it being un-used for a while and notice a corner of it had a battery leak. Not sure if it was due quality control or weather change. I really like this though, just wished it lasted longer. Now I have to return the product and go with another brand.

It is a good, long lasting battery. housed (as all are) in sturdy plastic body. has a 4 led meter on the side, standard v-mount configuration. I am using it on a BM-URSA mini with no problems at all. NOTE: this item is sold as battery only, no charger. I have a sony charger and it works perfectly on this battery. I recommend it and it is a few dollars cheaper than your average "name brand" battery with seemingly the same quality.

These are super reliable and long lasting. Especially for the price. I use it on my BMPCC4K

Had to replace a dead battery but honestly wasn't expecting a ton out of this one. Glad to be surprised. Has a nice long life and an easy to see led light indicator to let you know when it needs charged.

I bought one to save a few bucks over IDX v-mount equivalents and one of their charging bricks. It used it sparingly to power by video wireless vide village. It only took a half dozen charge cycles for it to stop accepting or holding a charge. I even purchased another charger to see if it was a dead charging brick. It is now the same cost if I would of just purchased my regular V-Mount IDX batts that i've had for several years now. Unfortunate and I can't recommend this battery. (This wasn't power anything with a large draw, it powered a 12v monitor and the 9v wireless receiver)
