The Ledge 2.1 Mountain Bike is great for young riders who are looking to start pushing their limits on mountain bike trails. The four-bar linkage, full-suspension frame offers a comfortable, controlled ride while providing a stable base.

Nice bike!
I cant speak to the longevity but we got this for our 9-year old for Christmas 2019, he loves its! He loves that it has gears. It seems to be pretty decent quality, rides, shifts and brakes just fine. My only complaint is that the front and rear brakes rub the rims a bit. This is an easy adjustment but they'll wear in themselves. It doesn't make peddling harder or anything, if you spin the wheels freely (off the ground) you can tell they rub a bit is all. Not a big deal.It was easy to assemble and looks really cool. Your kid should love this bike!

IF you buy it, for dual suspension, DO NOT BUY IT! rear suspension is a JOKE
Rear suspension, has no adjustment at all, I tried to adjusted, only gain 1/16" movement, if you want dual suspension bike this is not the best option due to design is poor. I feel robbed, due to don not meet my expectations, I bought this bike for my son's birthday, and he loves it.I going to keep it, I won't break his heart, by returning it, also handlebar, it was set up backward, I had to remove the brake handle and speed shifter to look right, by the way, I scratched in the process, this bars only got plain paint and no clear coat, if you scratched metal will be exposed and rust will show up.The speed system a cheap plastic but it works, no complaint. The bike feels heavy so be aware, the stand-up leg is hard to put it down even for me, so I can see my kid just lay down on the ground instead of using the leg to stand-up the bike.

All he wanted & more
Everything our son wanted and more. He had the walmart blue and black shocker from a few years ago. This looked just like mommy's pink mongoose but blue and black. He loves it so much, he was out riding on it in 30 degree weather. Easier than a bmx bike to put together
