Health Valley Organic Soup, No Salt Added, Chicken Noodle, 14.5 Ounce (Pack of 12)USDA Organic

I like to watch my sodium intake because I have high blood pressure. So I look for low sodium canned soups. The problem is almost all low sodium canned soup replace the sodium with potassium. Not a problem for normal folks but my blood pressure med makes excreting potassium slower for me. I have never gone to the ER but I have gotten chest pains from some other low sodium soups which are high in potassium. This soup is perfect! Extremely low sodium, no added potassium and high quality ingredients. I do add a bit of garlic salt when I make a can but it is still way less sodium than in normal canned soup. This is a new staple of my household and one I can feel good about.

I love this soup because it’s convenient and offers a low sodium option in a ready to eat soup. Most canned soups are loaded with sodium. I can feel good about eating this. If you like a little salt, you can add a bit at the table without over doing sodium levels like most prepared soups offer. It is a bit pricey, but I find it worth the money.

Expensive but ingredients looked healthy.Somedays I am unable to cook so thought this would be a good standby. LOOKED LIKE THE CANS WERE BANGED ON EDGE OF CEMENT BLOCK TO GET SUCH DEEP DENTS ON THE WORSE SECTION OF THE CAN FOR SAFTY CONCERNS - THE RIM SEAMS.THE USDA STATED "DISCARD ANY CAN WITH A DEEP DENT ON ANY SEAM." Not even boiling product is considered safe. My Gran's brother died from food poisoning after boiling food from a dented can that didn't look spoiled, but he was careful. Sadly, careful is toss the can. I AM CALLING HEALTH VALLEY TOMORROW. TOO ANGRY NOW. THIS IS NOT AMAZON. THE COMPANY SHIPPING PACKS THESE CANS. AND THEY KNEW ABOUT THE DENTS. THE PAPER LABEL was torn down from the dent exposing it and these cans were then wrapped in plastic. Same exact thing happened with Del Monte whole green beans packed the same way. Changed order to cut green beans because 4 cans were packed in a box and then placed in a box. NOT ONE DENT. OCEAN SPRAY CRANBERRY WHOLE BERRY SAUCE WAS PACKED BY AMAZON LOOSE WITH OTHER PRODUCT BUT PACKED SOLIDLY AND NOT ONE DENT. I am very happy wjth 365 Whole Foods as every can and jar is carefully wrapped and arrives safely. Also small businesses are usually outstanding.I will be carefully checking them first for product. I WILL NO LONGER BUY CANS THAT ARE 12 TO A "BOX LID" WRAPPED IN PLASTIC. CANS ARE NOT RETURNABLE SO THE COMPANIES DON'T RESPECT THE CONSUMER. BOYCOTT THESE COMPANIES THAT KNOWINGLY SHIP OUT DENTED UNSAFE CANS AND THEY WILL QUICKLY LEARN TO RESPECT CONSUMERS. About all I can do is use 12 expensive badly dented cans of Soup for target practice. Guess I'll order in Pizza when I can't manage to cook.It's a lot cheaper

As many have observed this soup is a little tasteless unembellished straight out of the can. No surprise given it is just about the lowest sodium canned soup you can buy. Taking sodium out once it's in there is impossible but adding non-sodium seasoning is easy. Adding some sodium free salt like Potassium Chloride and some fresh ground pepper helps wake it up for me.I also noticed as others have that most of the cans are dented. That's a bit disappointing given what we are paying for this. Hard to say where in the process the rough handling occurred. All things considered I will probably buy more when this case is gone.

Also a great price compared to our local grocery stores. I just get two crates shipped at a time.

Good basic soup you can jazz up easily but it used to $26 for a 12 pack, suddenly the price went up to $55. Reported it and it went back but now it is up to $46. , ridiculous.

Want to get your Veggies. This delicious/nutritious soup is rightly called Vegetable Soup. It contains nine vegetables: Potatoes, Carrots, Tomatoes, Corn, Onions, Celery, Green Beans and Spinach.And if you care, it is Organic, Non GMO, Gluten-Free.It is also Salt Free which for me is bland tasting. I solved that by simply adding salt to suit my taste and thought it Delicious. Remember you can add salt, but not remove it.And the entire 15 oz can is only 160 calories.I rate it Thumbs Up.I

Health Valley Lentil is my favorite no-salt added soup. I have been eating Health Valley No Salt Lentil Soup for years, but when I moved to Eugene, Oregon it was not available here, so I started buying it by the case from Amazon. I follow a no-salt added diet in order to maintain normal blood pressure without medication. I don't eat meat nor do I add oil to my food. It really helps me out to be able to eat lunch without cooking. I like to microwave a white/Gold potato, cut it up (including skin) and add it to the soup. It makes the soup hold me until dinnertime. I also like to add 4-5 drops of Tabasco Sauce to make it a little spicy. My first case was about 3/4 dented cans, but my review that stated that was rejected by Amazon so never posted. I know for sure it left the factory like that because the case comes in a cardboard holder and is covered in plastic and the dented cans were interior cans. However, I ordered again, and now I have gotten 4-5 cases in a row without dented cans. I just ordered 2 more cases of lentil and 1 case of tomato Health Valley No Salt Added soup so I am willing to buy it myself.
