Great sounding speaker!
Excellent speaker. We have it in an L-shaped area that’s probably 30‘ x 16‘ and it fills that room easily with sound! Connection to Amazon music was very easy and it looks great sitting on our sideboard. We’ve had it for over a year using it every day and we haven’t had any issues.

Beautiful with good sound (for what it is)
If you're looking at The Three, you're probably intrigued by the looks and our experience so far is that the sound quality is right in line with most quality mono speakers. First off, it looks just as good in person as it does in the photos. 5/5 for design and build quality, it looks fantastic in our modern home. If you are shopping for looks, rest assured that the sound is good and you can stop reading right here. Getting a bit more involved: This is a basic Bluetooth connection setup with the pluses and minuses associated with such. Flip the switch "on" and it's pretty much ready to go. Only weird thing is that the sound knob works independently of your source volume, kind of old-school. So you can make adjustments to volume on your phone but I find there's a balance you need to find so there's not any background hiss from turning up either the source or the speaker too much. For sound quality, while it sounds quite good in a bedroom or small space, the mids are a bit weak and washed out so it's not going to fill a big space without getting boomy. But that's true of virtually every small/midsized mono-speaker so I can't fault it too much. Bass is a bit heavy even tuned with an iphone EQ, also typical of this type of speaker. Overall, it sounds about the same as most $200 speakers but you pay a premium for the design and build quality. For comparison, let me first say that there's no substitute for stereo pairs. The Three fills a room pretty well but isn't going to create a wide soundstage like a stereo pair of speakers does. We have a pair of Sonos 1's in our kitchen and individually The Three sounds better but against a stereo pair it can't compete. For us, this is the perfect speaker for our bedroom and we will leave the "heavy lifting" for our HiFi system, hidden stereo needs for the Sonos and appreciate The Three for what it is: a beautiful and compact speaker that sounds really good.

Looks and sounds good
I like the look of this one better than the newer version. I also like the tactile switches and volume knob. It gets plenty loud enough--with ok bass response--to fill a pretty good sized room.

Nice Speaker!
Got this hooked up yesterday. I was cross shopping with Sonos Era 300. At the end of the day I went with the Klipsch 3 ii because it looks nicer in my room and cost less. The sound quality is great at this price point. I would consider it a good value. I've listened off Bluetooth, and then I plugged in an audio quest DAC and used the 3.5mm aux input. I could barely detect a difference in sound quality between the two, so the DAC in the Klipsch must be pretty decent. I do notice that the speakers are quite directional, and by that I mean that it sounds much better when your ears are roughly level with the speaker. I've placed it on a side table that is about waist high for me and I noticed the detail and balance of the sound is much better when I'm sitting in front of it and not walking around. Some other speakers that have drivers pointing in more directions like the Sonos Era series or five might be better for dispersing the sound in the room. The controls are dead simple. I noticed that the volume knob does not control the Bluetooth output volume on my phone like other Bluetooth accessories. So I just turned the volume on the speaker up to Max and adjust the volume in the room with my phone. The included remote could be used to fine tune volume or adjust it in a pinch if your phone isn't handy.

Awesome looking and sounding Bluetooth speaker
Ok, there’s a lot of Bluetooth speakers to choose from these days, and some very expensive versions are definitely better but few if any speakers in these speaker’s price range can claim the same. I feel you would need to spend north of a thousand dollars to begin to beat the Klipsch Heritage Three 2’s in bass and sound volume quality. Plus their vintage style is a real statement in almost any room. I have a very expensive stereo in my so called man cave but I am never disappointed in listening to this beautiful sounding speaker when I am cooking or cleaning my home. JAO

Superior sound in a well built timeless package.
Wonderful clean crisp sound, sensitive on whe it is places, so try different areas to find the best sound to get the best out of it. The is a superb product. Plays wonderfully with the all types of music, of the sound spectrum. Such a medium to small package can perform your are into a concert or symphony if not put at floor. MID level and use in the corner.

Bluetooth users beware
If you're planning to use this speaker with a permanent or semi-permanent Bluetooth connection—like from a laptop, smart home device, or TV—be aware of a major design flaw: If the speaker doesn’t detect audio for about 10 minutes, it goes into standby mode. The problem? It will not wake automatically when audio resumes. You have to physically interact with the speaker (press a button, rotate a dial, etc.) to get it to start streaming audio again. This makes it completely impractical for hands-off use or integration with smart home setups. Here’s a snippet from my chat with Klipsch support that confirms this behavior: Me: So Klipsch designed a Bluetooth speaker that you have to physically manipulate to wake up if you pause the music for more than 10 minutes over Bluetooth? Support: Right, when it goes into standby there is no broadcasting signal accepted. Me: That needs to be made clear in your advertisements/webpages. I wouldn’t have wasted hundreds of dollars on this if I’d known. My cheap JBL Bluetooth doesn’t pull this. Support: Got it and terribly sorry... I wish I had known this before purchase. Hopefully this saves someone else the frustration. The sound is great—but this issue is a dealbreaker for some use cases.

Very happy with the Klipsch Bluetooth speaker. Very clear, balanced & loud (if needs be). Has cable (Aux) cable input so I can use my CD audio player. Plays from my mobile phone with ease. It's all I need. I sold my valve hifi power & preamp with a huge Klipsch floor speakers. I have simplified my music listening requirements.
