Over a years worth of daily use plus comparison to brand new
I have had this light for over a year Its not perfect but for the price its a great light!!! The pictures are of low medium high and turbo the fence is 25 yards the wood shed is 50 yards the granary is 82 yards and the square piece of tin is at 120 yards. I can see better with my eye than you can see in the pictures.I can see fairly well out to 150 yards on turbo. You can see reflective objects further. I can see reflectors on liniator poles along the road for more than 600 yards.I have purchased 2 more of the thrunight tc15 and compared it side by side to the old one and the old is still just as bright it hasn't dimmed at all. The older one has more of a blue tint to it and the new ones have more of a yellow tint to them as shown in the picture. The lanyard feels excellent the packaging it comes in is extremely professional. It also comes with a sheath to carry it in. I had it fall out and so I don't trust the sheath. I pocket carried this light for a long time and now have made a leather sheath for it with my Leatherman. The first thing to do is cut the tab off of the rubber cap for the charging port (as shown in image) I found it would snag on my pocket and open it. So I cut it off and haven't had any issues since and its still easy to open. The batteries last a long time in just over a year of daily use I have only had to charge it like 3 times. It is the most useful thing I carry everyday. I love the memory setting the diffrent brightness levels.I find the firefly mode to be extremely useful. Its perfect for combination locks, reading, around horses, and anything you want to do without blinding yourself with how bright this flashlight can be.CONS:/WISHES: I really wish it had a two way clip to hook it on my hat when working in the dark. The button to turn it on and off can be hard to find. I index my clip so that it is exactly opposite of the button to help when trying to find it in the dark. While this helps it would be nicer to have a button on the back end.The sheathIt can be tricky to get it to go to strobe. I find it is 4 fast clicks not 3 as advertised. If you are still reading then you should just buy this light you won't regret it. I've now bought 3.Everyone I show it to has asked me where they can get one. For black Friday it drops to 44 bucks .

Excellent flashlight!!!
Great little flashlight. I love the brightness and size. It's very easy to use and very easy to switch between the many different modes. I already have many 18650 batteries and several battery chargers, but I love that I can just hookup a micro USB to charge it. I wish it was USB-C, but that's because my cell phones for the past 2+ years have been USB-C so I have many of those laying around (I still have plenty of micro USB cables because of many other things that still use micro USB like my bluetooth wireless headphones, etc). The one star reviews are from people that didn't take out the little piece of plastic that is between the anode (battery pin) and the battery terminal that probably was put there to prevent it from being turned on while in the box. The people that did not figure this out before they decided to post a 1 star review look a bit foolish to me. In my opinion, it makes those reviewers appear to lack a little bit of logic, reason and common sense. As soon as you plug in the charger (before removing the tiny piece of plastic between the anode and the terminal) the light will start blinking purple. That means "abnormal charging," and is stated in the instructions. As soon as I plugged in the charger and saw the blinking purple light I knew that it was charging abnormally because I read the instructions before I even plugged in the micro usb to begin charging. I quickly realized that something might be wrong with the battery, so I took out the battery and saw the small plastic circle between the anode and the light. So, I removed the little plastic circle and plugged in the micro USB again. Once plugged in, the light was red, notifying me that the battery was charging. Instantly, I felt foolish for not opening up and looking at the battery before I tried use it or to charge it. I can only imagine how foolish the reviewers that only gave this 1 star must feel. I guess that's why I always wait more than 10 minutes before I post a review on something... especially if something like the blinking purple led or the fact that the light works while plugged in (but only in 2 different modes/intensities), but it doesn't work when unplugged, would make me think that I am doing something wrong or that something specific needs to be done before it will work correctly. I certainly wouldn't give it 1 star without trying to figure out what the problem is or calling customer service or doing a quick internet search, etc first. I only write reviews after I've spent a few weeks using it first.

Nice little light
Used for a nightly dog walker. I've had it about 2 months on one charge. Mostly use the low setting, but it's really nice to double click and see all the way down the block. The strobe feature is also very bright. This is very close to my Olight at a third of the cost. Rechargeable with usbc. Has belt clip and a nylon pouch. Tossed it immediately. Lanyard is fairly heavyweight. So far it has exceeded my expectations
