Perfect book for little kids. The illustrations are bold and simple and the words are easy to read and simple. So glad we got this book for our toddler.

Best books
We love this book and author! It's age appropriate for 0-3, and very entertaining. We call the binky a paci, and it's easy to swap the wording. Our son loves it and cackles laughing every time

A must read for all binky lovers !
I absolutely love this book and most of all the other books by Leslie Patricelli. The story is of the baby who cannot find his binky and has to look everywhere for it and finally finds it in his bed. I do like that the binky is in his bed as we are currently trying to get my son to only use the binky during sleep times so this fits perfect. I just love hearing my son interact with this book now that he's a little older. We have been reading this book to him for a year or so now (he's 2) and he now answers you when you ask the question "Is Binky in my cereal"? It is super cute hearing him respond. "NO" and how excited he gets to find the binky at the end of the book. This is a favorite of his and we read this book almost every night! My husband and I have it memorized we read it so often.

We love the binky book.
I bought this book for 2 reasons. 1) I needed to add on to get to $25 for free shipping and 2) one of my sons is a binky fiend and we were trying to cut him back. The book is very simple and the baby searches for his binky all over the house - which my boys love. Even though it is very simplistic in the terms of wording, we are able to make it different every time because we focus on other things - colors, shapes, etc. Even his brother (twins), who has never liked to use a binky loves this book. It is a nice weight and is not easy to destroy. We will rip any book that is "real" paper.I was worried that a book about a binky would encourage him to use it more but it has helped us by reinforcing that binkys belong only in bed - one step to banishing the binky forever - some day.

Not what I was expecting
I love all Leslie Patricelli books and we didn't have this one yet. I had never read the book before, but just assumed it would be great like the others. Most books I have read on "binkies" is usually about getting rid of it, this is not. It is all about searching the house for it, and eventually finding it in his crib. So if you are like me and wanted a book to help get rid of the binky, this is not the book. Otherwise like I said all Leslie Patricelli books are great.

I don't love that the baby empties her cereal bowl upside down ...
My daughter likes this book. I change the language to pacifier because that is the word that she knows. I don't love that the baby empties her cereal bowl upside down or looks in the potty for her "binky;" because sometimes kids like to act out scenes from books and I really don't want to find a pacifier in the toilet. But, that's my only real issue with this book. The pictures and storyline are easy to follow and has helped reiterate the message that pacifiers are for sleeping and should stay in her bed.

Baby is on the hunt for his binky
We love Binky. My 18 month old son's binky is called "paci" so we change out the word when we read it and he LOVES the story. Everyone's favorite baby is looking all over the house for his binky; under furniture, with mom, with dad, in the potty (a baby potty by the way), and even with the goldfish and dog. Finally he finds it in his crib. The story ends with the baby sleeping in his crib with his binky saying that is his favorite place to have his binky. For our family this was especially helpful because my son only gets his binky when he sleeps so I love the fact that that is the location that the baby finds his and states that's his favorite place for binky. It reinforces that binky has a special place. Definitely one of our favorite Patricelli books.
