Let's Get Dressed! (Caroline Jayne Church) Board book – September 1, 2012

Simple book that goes step by step through getting dressed. Our 15 month old loves it, and it has helped us move out of the “toddler screams and writhes while we dress her” phase and into the “toddler knows what the steps are for getting dressed and asks for her clothing herself” phase. We paired it with sign language so that she can ask for clothing that she cannot say the name of verbally yet.

Nicely illustrated; hard cover and pages. The thick pages make them easy to turn for a child who hasn't quite mastered fine-motor skills.

My son loves this book! Easy to read and turn pages with added tabs for little hands! Has the cutest, fun to follow pictures for toddlers learning to dress themselves. Came fast and on time. Very happy with my purchase! 😊

This was a gift which was given along with a doll to dress. It was for a two year old, but the older sibling liked it, too.

I never write reviews, but my 3 year old has been having daily temper tantrums about getting dressed for months. This book came in the mail last night, and we read it while getting dressed this morning. 5 minutes later, no tears, he was dressed and happily eating breakfast compared to the usual 20 minute saga that left us both exhausted and sad.

If I were just to write "Stinkin' adorable" I think it would sum up this review. But, since the point of a review is to inform the next buyer, here are my points: It's well made. The materials used to make this a "board" book are superb, much better than many of the other board books we own. It's visually appealing and imaginative on every page. If you feel stumped about how to teach your child the world of independent dressing, this little gem would be helpful. Anyhow, definitely no regrets buying this one!

I mostly love these books, this one was a little worse than I anticipated. No real story and doesn't seem to hold interest to my toddler. She is already interested in getting dressed herself so maybe it would be of more use to a child who needed to be encouraged?
