It's nice and very informative I just wish the book could of been more bigger it's small and thick I've had my eye on this book for quite some time to help me with my spiritual life growing and expanding with God, just glimpsing through it I can tell it's jam packed with great information, literally is chapter by chapter that's why is so thick and with conclusions to reflect on you can definitely use it for reference if you didn't quite understand a story,verse or scripture

A valuable Biblical resource for Bible studies and understanding Scriptures from a renowned scholar !

Studying the Bible is not easy for me because I sometimes get overwhelmed with the depth of it all. What I really love about this (and I knew this immediately) is how it helps me to focus on the "bullet points" of chapters. It's almost like it's outtakes of the things I generally highlight in my Bible as I study.When I first got this, I didn't realize how thick it is. Thankfully, the font is not too small and I can read it without strain.I use this after I read a chapter or two in the Bible. I can go over the highlights in this handbook to refresh my reading and add to my notes. I also am using this to study some of the books and/or chapters that I always find overwhelming. The Book of Revelation has always been a lot for me to take in. I thumbed through the handbook and I really like how it distills key topics and points of the Book.This is just going to be so handy, especially when talking or sharing with family and friends as we discuss the Bible. I think this is probably one of the best additions to my library of Bible study "helps".

Dr. Wiersbe put together a great resource that will last the test of time. It's very useful for Bible study and even giving a sermon outline for those who don't regularly preach.

This is one of my best loved devotional books for personal Bible reading. It takes you chapter by chapter thru the entire Bible with historical, theological and biblical explanations to clarify the Word for personal application. Wiersbe's mind for truth and love for God are evident throughout the book. He gleans the wisdom of the Church throughout the ages and inserts helpful quotes and information for personal growth. I have used this for many years and always discover something new, true, heartwarming and spiritually challenging. Buy Wiersbe.

Dr.Wiersbe was a prolific Biblical writer and teacher. His authorship of a NKJV study Bible, Bible commentary, study series, and many more books are all excellent.His “With the Word” book is of the same excellent writing. It’s amazing how well he was able to condense/summarize the Bible to such a small work. The paperback is thick and doesn’t seem small, but considering the breadth of the work (the Bible) that he is dealing with, he did an amazing job.This book is particularly helpful to people new to the Bible.I recommend this book to anyone- it’s a terrific overview of the Bible.

Althougfh small in size, this book is big in usefulness. Almost every chapter in the Bible has its own paragraph, summarizing it and often those in the Old Testament include how they relate to the New Testament. There are some chapters combined and, as with Psalm 119, some are broken into smaller sections. There are quotes from ither authors scattered throughout that aid in applying what the author offers.

The late and great author Warren Wiersbe's most practical book, a straight to the point commentary on every book of the Bible. Because of it's pocket sized nature, this makes it very easy to get a general idea of every chapter in the Bible. What is more amazing, almost every chapter is easily remembered because of his wonderful outlines. This book is therefore useful for young believers, who will not become overwhelmed with ideas and concepts of a regular theological commentary, and to more mature believers, who will get to witness the most advanced techniques in Christian writting, getting the general message across, yet also making it highly practical to live out a Christian life. Alongside scriptural devotional material, this book also includes many quotes from famous people.This is one those rare books that you will be using again and again alongside your Bible. By implication, this will also help anyone with their sermon making, as it outlines every chapter of the Bible, a precious resources to any preacher, pastor, parent, and to anyone serving in their church.

This book is such a help aid when reading the Bible. Easy to understand and yet so relevant. I have bought this for gifts..especially for younger folk to encourage and teach them in The Word. Mr. Wiersbe had such a gift for Bibe teaching. I strongly recommend this book.

Each chapter is well explained. It is a great tool to grasp whole picture of the chapter.You should buy.
