Bob Lowery ~ Yellow Light

Yellow Light: Definitely gets a green light!
Lyrics, rhythm and music are all terrifically blended. Bob has a sort of Dave Matthews quality in a fresh sense. I'm playing this album on Friday evenings and when I have cocktail parties.

Great Debut - Why iisn't Bob famous by now?
Rock-solid debut album by a guy who can sing great, write meaningful lyrics and blow a mean harmonica. I'd love to hear more from him, but last I heard he wasn't active in music anymore??? That's a shame if it's true, because if "Tell Me" isn't a number one hit song, no song is...

Great new artist
It's been awhile since I have been this caught up by an artist. The whole cd is great, from start to finish. There's an excellent mix of up-beat, lighthearted, and more serious songs. It's the kind of album that you can put on and enjoy until it's over, and then put it on again!

Bob's gotten what blues and rock used to be about
There's a wonderful bittersweetness about guitar and harmonica and songs of love and loss and hope and humor. Before pumped up volume and all the staginess, there were individuals and their music. I'm glad to find a CD like this. Some echoes of Dylan and Springsteen and even Ry Cooder, but Bob has a voice all his own.

Kick Butt!
I must say, I am impressed with this CD. I am not a music person by any stretch, but I most certainly loved this CD. I just hope he's got another one coming out!
