Q: Has anyone used this on pokemon go activity sync using an iphone? does it work well?

Yes I use this with my iPhone and it works well. You just have to make sure you have it set up properly. I couldn’t get it to work for a while and was convinced it was a scam! You need to make sure the game is shut down and not on in the background otherwise it is still measuring your distance not steps. Also in settings, health, data access and devices, Pokemon Go make sure everything is checked on to allow it to read and write data. This is where mine went wrong, it was reading data but not allowed to write it. Also when you go in game to check if it’s worked give it 20-30 seconds to catch up. Hope this helped :)

Q: Does this still work after the January update in Pokemon Go?

Yes-take battery save off in game and make sure your Active sync is on.....will do about 15km per night and Pokémon doesn’t need to be on

No it should swing as long as it's plugged in. It has to be correctly balanced and not catching on anything to swing. Try balancing it right on top so it moves easily back and forth, it it stops, it's catching or not balanced properly
