Bought this in 2019 as a backup and my other timer finally failed. I started using this timer less than a few months ago, and let me say its underwhelming. It looks great but the timer is not accurate, meaning you could be waiting all day and sometimes it doesn't follow through and ring. It tends to stop short about one or two minutes before zero and then ... NOTHING. No sound, no buzz, no click, no Kaboom, nothing. On the few occasions that it mustered up the energy to pass the finish line, it sounds off for less than 1 second. Now, I'm not sure how you cook, but I use an exhaust hood to remove the fumes, smells and cooking vapors from my cooking space. Even on the lowest setting, I can barely hear the timer sound off. What's worse, is that it's not that loud even when the exhaust hood is off. Going back to the drawing board, and looking for another timer. It's too bad, it looks sharp on the counter.

We are so impressed and excited about this timer we decided to add some more comments and a second review. It is truly amazing when you buy something that you love and it really makes your work in the kitchen so much more simple and convenient. In our first review we forgot to mention that another feature is if you want a longer ring time when the time counts down all you have to do is rotate the dial 360 degrees until it stops and then go back to the time you want to set the timer at and then when it reaches zero it rings a lot longer and I think even louder. This should be rated 5 stars....as long as it is reliable. Oh and also it came the next day too after we ordered it.

Nice for my kitchen, stylish but a little concerned about how cheaply it looks to be. It’s all plastic!! I’m old-school and I know things are not as well made like they use to be. But it works fine just wondering how long it will last. Will keep.

This is a basic strong kitchen timer with a rubber bottom w/ about a 45° angle. You can do anything with it. You can time kitchen things you can time whatever you want all you have to do is turn the timer to the time and it will go off. Other people have complained that you have to wind it up. Yes you can! It just makes the ringer get louder. You can turn it up to 60 minutes. And then if you need it to use it for 20 minutes you just turn it back down to 20 minutes. And it just gets louder at 20 minutes. If all you want it to do is turn it to 20 minutes. Just turn it 20 minutes. And it'll go ding. This is perfect

You need to take this offline. It's not worth the price to send back. But here's a review; I bought it because it was black and stainless primarily, and I wanted a timer. I didn't expect it to be loud, but I thought I could take it to another room with me, and not be in the kitchen. Well the ring is very soft, but can hear if placed next to you. I used about 3 or 4 times before it quit working at all. Nothing but junk, please take this down before other people buy this useless item, please.

I have had one of these for years now and just purchased one for my father. It is loud enough to hear and does not require batteries. I like that I do not have to read a manual to figure out how to set it. Turn to max then set to the desired time. The only drawback is that it is only a one hour timer. This is not a big deal as you can just set it for an hour then set it again for the remaining time.

Needed to get a new one and saw that I ordered this same model in 2014. It worked great for 7 years! I think that is pretty good and I am ordering another one. Only recently had the old one started not working well.

I set it for 7 min by turning dial clockwise to 7. It counts off 7 min but does not ring! To set for 7 min, it must be turned clockwise to 60 min, then counter clockwise to 7 min. Then it counts down and rings. The clockwise turn to 7 min does not work in contrast with the instructional card which came with it. Otherwise it works fine.

This timer is to replace the one on my stove/oven. It works very well and I like that the tone is loud enough for me to hear over the TV volume. It arrived quickly, in excellent condition.
