Our Schutzhund trained 115lb Czechoslovakian military special forces working bloodline German Shepherd can DEMOLISH anything he sets his mind to: chain link, welded crates, heavy (3 man lift) wooden Amish dog house, 6ft Tposts driven 2.5ft into the ground, any weight rated dog cable that ever existed ($70+) and every collar he ever wore ($50+). This chain holds him back. He has given up hope of destroying it and we couldn't be happier! This is the only thing standing between him and our herd of dairy goats & farm cat, and he is safely contained. If your dog destroys every restraint you give him, get this chain. You'll be so glad you did. The dog described above is a beast, he has a career of taking down men up to 350lbs with little to no effort as a SPORT. He is absolutely no joke of a canine. He excells expectations of professional trainers with 50+ years of experience as a hobby. Your angsty yard dog (pit/lab/boxer/Dane/Rottweiler/chow/malinois/Pyrenees/Caucasian shepherd/doodle/doberman/mutt) will do fine on this thing. Do be ethical and do not leave them on this for the entire day, and certainly not their whole life. Anyone who does that should be completely ashamed of themselves. But if you want a dog with power to have some SHELTERED outdoor run time without constant supervision, this chain will 100% give you that.

Used to hang a swing.

Were using this for a porch swing and expect it to last a long long time. I have used the cheaper porch swing chain that you can purchase as a complete set and it has a pretty short lifespan.11/2019 it's been on our porch swing for a couple of years and it still looks good. We've had three big people on the swing numerous times and it's not showing any signs of degradation. I'm back to purchase more for another project. I feel it was a pretty fair price for the chain and strong enough for a swing.Overall It's rated for 800 lbs I'm not going to pull a truck out of a ditch with it. I would certainly think the other reviewer who's dog broke this chain is not your normal run of the mill house pet. Two chains on a swing give you 1600 lbs and that's plenty strong if your not abusing and over stressing the chain.

Great chain at a great price, need I say more?I think not -

We have a strong dog (great perinese/boxer) that keeps breaking off a regular dog chain, so we decided to upgrade him to a heavier thicker chain. Hope he can't break this. Update later.Update: it is going on the 9th month since our dog was put on this chain, he has not been able to break it, he is an outside dog & has to be on a chain at all times. So yes this is good for dogs with strength.

Can't be the price for the 20' length. I looked plenty of places.
