Massage Roller Ball by Cool Fun Stuff

The massage roller ball is pretty cool--it is as advertised. The ball seems to be made of an acrylic like material and so I am assuming that it won't suffer too much damage if I drop it although the white casing may break as it seems to be made of plastic. (Needless to mention, I haven't tried it.)It works pretty well--rubbing it over sore muscles helps with the soreness.The only flip side in my opinion is that since the "exposed part of the ball" is pretty small (about 3/4 inch), if one has a lot of loose skin or fat, some of it tends to get caught in the space between the casing and the ball leading to a feeling of being pinched. There is also a hole at the back of the casing through which massage oil or lotion could be poured in but I have not tried it.

As a birthworker, I am always on the lookout for a great compact massager that I can throw into my doula bag. These are wonderful and make my job so much easier! The rolling balls allow you to grip the outside and really lets the ball glide along the back making less work for me! When I'm at a long birth, I need all the energy I can get so these work wonders! Even use them on my hubby when his back is sore! Love them!

The massage roller ball is nice, but be aware to maintain optimal performance and smooth rolling the ball must be removed on occasion to clean the dust and dirt that collects on the white handle. I also had to gently sand the inside of the white handle in order to allow the ball to roll more freely during a massage.

I could have bought 2 through Amazon, for the price of 1 at a specialty store. Same one at Sports Chalet, or Sports Authority starts at $12...With this- I can rub out my knots w/out tiring my hands.

Is very different then expected. Ordered this as a gift for my mother. It is smaller then expected and doesnt work as I expected. It has no electric to it, just a simple ball that rolls. Hope she likes it anyway, we will see

It was much smaller than I expected (can cup it in my hand) but still effective. At first, it did not roll very smoothly, but I suppose after a few days use and it collecting more oils, it rolls better. I got this for my husband as he is always asking for massages when he gets home from work, and my hands were becoming very tired. Buying this roller was great for me and him; I could massage him with just one hand, allowing me to hold a book or laptop with the other, and he fell asleep very fast. I very much like this roller ball. Although I say it is small, I suppose it is just the right size of small that allows you to roll/focus on specific areas. If I could make a suggestion, it would be to shape the bottom part to fit your hand easier. The small flat shape is a little awkward to grab.

Husband says they feel good, but they're not as easy to use as i thought. Be sure to use oil with them

It looks great.. and feels awesome.As a licensed massage therapist, I love using this on myself after a long day of massaging clients.My kids also use it on themselves and on me... really nice!
