LOVE these brushes - they have a hog-bristle feel that is essential for getting the texture I want when painting trees, grass, etc. My synthetic fans are just too smooth. So glad I purchased this set! No shedding noted.

These brushes are real bristle with the naturally "flagged" tips so necessary to good brush strokes. There were a few excessively long bristles here and there, particularly in the smaller brushes, which made careful trimming of those few individual hairs necessary. Not too much to ask when the bundle cost about as much as one or two top-quality, name-brand brushes!

I've been searching for a good fan brush, since the nylon ones I've used in the past did were not stiff enough to create the effect I was looking for in painting clouds or trees. These fan brushes were exactly what I was looking for in my Acrylic landscapes!

They work acceptably

I like the stiff bristles on these brushes. You can pile on the paint and they hold up. The softer nylon ones just collapse. I use with acrylics.

This product arrived very quickly. I have not tried these brushes yet but just from inspecting them I can tell that they are good quality and should make some happy little trees soon.

Handles are too long for my comfort but the brush itself is magnificent!
