Charger is being used for charging the battery pack in an 'old' Uniden Bearcat Scanner
I purchased this charger after I was gifted an old mid-1990's vintage SportCat Model: SC150B scanner from the relative of a deceased family member. The original charger was lost somehow. The original NiCad battery pack in the scanner had long ago become defective.In addition to this charger I also purchased a replacement NMH battery pack as listed online for the scanner.

It works as advertised.
At times it's hard to find a charger for 30+ year old handheld vhf radio. This charger saved the day.

This is a a universal adaptor with an extra tip only. Get a better Universal Adaptor
This appeared to be a direct charger but turned out to be a universal adaptor with one extra tip. Do yourself a favor and purchase a universal adaptor that has multiple tips.The adaptor did work. I had bought for my neighbor..he decided to keep. I'd have sent it back
