The best kneeling grappling dummy availible in the UK
I am extremely happy with this grappling dummy. Whilst it is one of the more expensive ones on Amazon it is the closest in design to the Ring 2 Cage dummy which is about 4 times the price and would need importing from the USA. This makes it the best kneeling grappling dummy on the market in the UK at an excellent price. The material is of good thick quality, zips are well covered, stitching is clean and appears strong and it looks built to last without compromising the excellent limb articulation. The articulation makes this an excellent dummy for practising heel hooks and the 50/50 position. This dummy is simply head and shoulders above the cheaper dummies on this site in quality and limb articulation.Customer service is excellent. A friendly staff member called me within minutes of sending a query email via amazon to discuss my query. This was the quickest response I have ever received and gave me faith in the professionalism of the company. In summary, if you're looking for a good quality dummy comparable with the current market leader at a much cheaper cost, this is the one to buy. This is the best kneeling grappling dummy for sale in the UK.

A good investment. Take your time to stuff it and it will serve you well.
Good and well built. Tough to stuff well though cause the arms and legs arcade in a bent shape .. especially the legs as you have to do it from the back opening but word of advice.. get a broom stick and lots micro fibre filling and you can get it stuffed up real good.Once stuffed well Tough, can say that it's better than some of the other brands that I have seen out there.

Best alternative training partner you can buy
I've bought 3 grappling dummies now since the start of lockdown in the UK.This is the best by far.The other 2 were made of cloth and had weak stitching so they both ripped their stitching quick despite light use and they had weird anatomy with weird stubby arms with massive 'hands balls' etc. This has realistic anatomy with normal sized arms and actually separate hands and feet.Very useful for grabbing the wrist and knuckle line when necessary (eg wrist for kimura and knuckle line for straight grips from the back)Only real gripe is the fact that there is only 1 single strap connecting the arms and I have found they have started forming little smalls and I'm a little worried in time they will rip off entirely (if anyone has any suggestions to circumvent this please let me know as I don't want it to rip I'm thinking maybe putting extra stuffing under the armpit then duct taping it but not sure if this will work??).Also in addition to durability I believe a second strap for the shoulder would be useful just for techniques in general e.g. you could torque the shoulder from side control to expose the back to set up kimuras etc which you cannot do with the current configuration as their is no tension from a single strap. But overall absolutely brilliant training partner and has kept me sane recently.Just a couple notes for people who haven't used a graplling dummy before on what to expect:* You can practise back attacks and top position attacks very effectively on it (back control, side control, mount, top half guard, etc.). Not as realistic as done on a drilling partner who can feed you reactions but genuinely surprised just how close some of the moves can be replicated on this as they can be on a person.* Some turtle attacks can be done on it* Anything that requires any sort of rigidity or resistance is not going to happen as no matter how tightly you pack it: it will always be too floppy (e.g. it can't sit up in your guard, sit up in butterfly guard, have legs in the air so you can practise guard passes, etc.). Not to say you definitely can't practise those moves in some way but you won't be able to practise them as effectively or realistically.

Bad stitching
One arm has come off and the 2nd arm is loose.

Best lockdown training partner
Really happy with this dummy. It took a lot of stuffing to fill up, I brought 20kg of rag material and used most of it. I put slightly less stuffing around the knee and arm bends so it is more flexible. The material and stitching seems good quality and tough. He also looks good in the Gi top!Worth buying one if you’re missing jiujitsu!Great customer service / updates too !

Disappointed
Torture to fill but I would get over that if it was good quality. Which I thought it was as it’s not the cheapest dummy out there! However the stitching ripped on the groin area after about 10 minutes of light use.Forcing me to have to use strong tape to tape all around the area in attempt to make it usable and not to rip more.

Good product and great customer service.
Received Emperor Grappling Dummy within a week. Product was a little smaller than I expected, but it gets the job done. Product quality is really good and I expect it will hold up well. Customer service was excellent. They let me know when it shipped and ensured I was a satisfied customer.

Good jitsu practice dummy
Very sturdy, takes a bit to fill full ( used old clothes to stuff ) but durable.
