Justice League Dark (2018-) Vol. 3: The Witching War

This has to be my favourite DC series at the moment great characters and great story highly recommend

“Justice League Dark – The Witching War” collects issues #14-19 of this, the best of all possible Justice League titles!Just when I thought the previous volume had wrapped up the loose ends, in pops Zatarra to warn Wonder Woman that all is not at all well, and she’s about to lose everything…This is comic-book writing and arting at the top of the game. In a review of the previous volume, I said that this is the best of the “Justice League” books by a long-shot, probably because we care about the characters involved in this one – because they ARE characters, and not just archetypes and costumes: they have all got history with each other and with memorable runs by memorable writers, and this volume reaches the heights previously only climbed by Swamp Thing and Hellblazer, and somehow Wonder Woman not only fits in here, but belongs here!I cannot praise this enough – though, as the saying goes, we are standing on the shoulders of giants; but that IS how comic-books work: each generation build upon the foundations laid down by their predecessors. Roy Thomas remembered the missing Skrull, John Byrne remembered the cows, Alan Moore wondered what happened if you shot a vegetable in the head, and so on.Anyway, the story, you ask?
