This was a great tool for my husband to help feel confident to help me during labor. Not every card is for everyone but the guided imagery were very effective for us.

I found this quite helpful in labor. I was in too much pain to think about what methods or positions to try, and this was a convenient tool for my husband to use to offer suggestions to me. We made it through delivery with no drugs, and I have to give some credit to this deck.

The Birth Deck is a fantastic tool for anyone wanting quick and effective comfort techniques handy for labor. As a labor nurse and birth educator, I highly recommend it! The cards are easy to use and provide a variety of techniques that can make a big difference during labor. A must-have for expecting parents!

I expected a little bit more from this deck. It’s like the best things about the deck were shown in the preview photos for the product. There wasn’t a lot of new information for me in the deck, but, I gave it to my husband and told him to study it so he can be prepared to use it as my partner in labor and delivery. So hopefully it’ll be a very good and supportive deck for him, someone less informed. It definitely has the potential to be, it’s just up to him.

to be honest, i was hestitant to purchase because for the price of it, i wasnt sure if it would be worth it. However, my husband and i have tried other ways to comforting and communicating, you get so much information and notes from many different sources like classes, videos, people, etc.. its hard to keep track of them all in one place. This has really helped streamline mostly all that i've learned into easy to read cards. When you're in the moment of stress and commotion, this is going to come in handy. My husband is the kind of "tell me what to do, and ill do it" kind of guy, so this took some weight off my shoulder. I think it's worth the price for peace of mind, and you can always regift to someone next in line!

My husband and I are going through the cards and just laughing at some of the suggestions. I was hoping for other ways in the deck for him to comfort or coach me through the upcoming labor other than ( let mom brush her teeth) 😔 we got a good laugh out of it. Might be more helpful for holistic/ drug free / hypno birthing moms but for people like me who just want guidance for clueless husbands...... Just watch YouTube.

This deck has been a favorite resource for my doula business when doing our prenatal visits and even during birth! It sparks great conversations between the birthing mom and support persons as to what they may or may not like and gives fantastic ideas to take with you into your birth experience. Practice and conversation at home lead to a very natural use of what the cards have to offer (comfort measures) on the big day! Highly Recommended!
