Magic Trick

The rose is pretty, but it started to rip apart on the borders right away, during rehearsals.The rose slips down once you pull it up, showing the torch, and giving away the trick.I will not be able to present the trick professionally.

excellent, don't pay attention to the noobs. It's a standard fake flower with a small flame snuffer in the center on a wire with a winding of fire resistant rope at the end. You're meant to wet it with lighter fluid or some such similar nonsense, I read an angry review all about how it's hard to light. You're not meant to burn off the little rope, you're meant to burn off the solvent and keep your rope as long as possible. The little snuffer on my first was plastic, and when I reorder the new ones came with metal. Both work just fine. Some roses come made of a studier nylon materiel, others a bit more floppy and soft, but both look the part just fine, and function just fine. I personally do this one handed, but have my nephew (9) using both. You can slide the rose slowly and concealed up the wire, it's a super easy trick. At first the rose may not stay. I had no problems at all flicking it, but when my nephew did his bit the rose would fall some and reveal the torch. easiest way to fix that is to just practice with it, the torch end will misshape itself to fit the snuffer a bit better as you practice. It is a cheap trick, but for a cheap trick, it's bang on worth every cent. Unless your time is worthless.

I haven't had a chance to use it just yet but the concept of how to apply the effect appears to be sound I am looking forward to an opportunity to where I can actually put it into practice

for less than 7 dollars this trick is worth it this arrived really fast and it was wraped in bubble wrap i would suggest this to any upcoming magican who wants a easy beginer fire trick (adult supervision required) i used regular zippo lighter fluid for the torch and it works perfectly im a senior in high school and imusing this at my prom next week for some friends this was well worth my money in purchasing.overall totaly worth it i would recommend this to anyone im going to purchase a few more soon for my collection

I was very excited to get this and the effect is very good BUT there was an issue. It only worked about 2 times before the wic went flying off the stem. All attempted to get it back on have resulted it in being not centered which means once you "do the trick" sometimes it gets stuck on the edge. This has the potential to be a huge fire hazard due to the fact that the wic while on fire could go flying!Quality is REALLY lacking here on this one. I am going to request a refund.

it doesn't come in a glass container but in a plastic bag. I dipped the cotton wrapped torch end in alcohol, lit it up and it worked great.

It was cool but it only worked a few times, the the torch head was out.The flame dosen't get as big as it looks in the picture.

Does not come as shown, and, while it works, it is an extremely cheap artificial flower that is made of nylon, and melts on exposure to the flame, which is not reliably extinguished by the rose. Not great.
