Culture, Food and People of India is a very interesting read. Tia loved reading it along with me.The books talks about the vibrant cultures, delicious food and lovely people from around the world.There are activities at the end of every chapter in the book which makes it very engaging for the kids. Ensures learning alongside bonding with your little one.It says the book is for 8+ year old kids but if you're reading it to your child, it's a good one for children of any age considering the bright pictures it has.Totally recommended!

Considering the vast area of subject matter this book covers, it is a very decent attempt at a cultural introduction to India, in a simplistic manner suitable for children. The book is inclusive of all the regions/cultures of India. The illustrative details are a combination of photographs and pictures that blend well.

Living in a nation like India where we see different kind of culture nourishment dishes and assortments and individuals is an incredible aid. Encouraging our youngsters about this changed custom in a basic manner with skillfull depiction made simple with Sonia Mehta book.

This book from Discover India series is an interesting read. It has a lot of information about various aspects of food, culture, traditions and people etc. We enjoyed reading it a lot. A little more could have been researched and added, but overall a worth buy, specially if you are living out of the country and wish your child to know about the motherland.
