Quiet and Reliable
I first bought this pump back around 2004. It's been in operation CONTINUOUSLY since then and only failed recently because I didn't notice that my filter was clogged. I am happy to see that the design hasn't changed as all I had to do was unbolt the motor and impeller and hook up the new one to the pump casing. The old motor was from A.O. Smith and I notice the new motor is from a different supplier. Also love the fact that this is all "Made in USA". We'll see how it goes as I just put it into operation today. The price surprised me but if I get another 15 years out of this one, that'll only be $25/year. Who can complain about that?

Is very very powerful
It is very powerful and works to clean pond very well runs very cool and seems to be a great pump but time will tell.Pump is a little louder than the pump we had beefore but this one is more powerful so a little noise is a not important.

Still all in all works pretty good.
Have the right size pump for the gallons of water, but doesn't seem to have enough output. Still all in all works pretty good.

A Very Very Good Setup!
What a great pump/motor. Extremely quiet!!!!!! I wouldn't know it was on except for the water fall feature flowing into our small koi pond. Our pond is about 1500 gallons with a 4' tall water fall feature....and this pump works great, even with the filter basin, etc. Love the Emerson motor too, our last one lasted over 15 years!

Almost great
Bought this a little about 5 months ago to replace a different pump set up to make the system a little more user friendly on my koi pond. I use a external strainer basket that is inline with a check valve to stop back flow when pump is turned off. the pump worked as advertised for about 3 months then I started having failed start ups after shutting it off to clean the strainer every week. i would have to take the pump out of the system and remove the pump cover to see something made it past the strainer. The most I ever find is a small twig no bigger then a pencil lead that would wedge it self between the impeller and housing at the bottom. There was a bit of a rough edge on the housing that looks like the mold left behind that would cause edge distance to be small enough to wedge the twig i cleaned it, smoothed the rough edge and haven't had much of a problem since then. i would recommend this to others just make sure you have a good strainer or it will stall out as the motor is just not strong enough to power through everything you would hope for.

23 years old!
My old Sequence 750in now 23 years old. I'm getting a new one, even though the old one is still working, but pumping at only about 50%. It has lasted so long because I only run it about 15 hours a day for about 6 month out of the year. Fish hibernate so you don't have to run a pump in the winter.

It was enough for my waterfall and then some
The pump has been operating for about 8 months and it has had no issues at all. I was surprised at the volume of water. I had to divert some of the water to another filter but that was mostly my fault because I made the waterfall too high and I needed to quiet it down. It is a very nice pump.
