The Veil

I learned about this from my parents who heard Blake speak in Phoenix last week. I then skeptically looked it up at about 5pm, purchased the kindle edition at 6pm, finished it at 10pm... couldn't... put.. it.. down. And now I'm going to re-read it with my girl. An unbelievable blessing and affirmation of God's gifting in my life; I can't even explain. But allow me to try. I have never seen someone so perfectly explain God's heart in relationship to the Spiritual world around us. I heard God's words so clearly in his writing, tears were constantly running down my face. Blake doesn't try to systematically explain the Spiritual, he just gives us an honest recount of his experiences and then talks about how God has revealed himself through them. If I ever find myself in a position of trying to explain to someone our place in the larger spiritual world, this is the book I will now walk them through. After years of serving in college ministry, formal theological study, homeless ministry, leading a 24-hour prayer movement, and now working in a moderately conservative church, I've heard so many sketchy "words of knowledge" and "theologies" about angels, demons, and the Spirit. I've seen my Christian brothers and sisters do so many crazy things. From weird rituals associated with talking to demons through people (trying to cast them out), to calling anything remotely spiritual "demonic", to new-agey visualizations that surpass any witch craft I've ever seen. So much of it was contrary to Scripture or relationship with God, I had given up thinking the Spiritual side of our world was something the average person should interact with. Blake just helped restore my faith that God is willing to reveal these things to his people so we can be co-heirs who rule and reign his kingdom alongside him, and Blake did it in a way that made the trinity supreme, not only in power and authority, but in focus, delight, and relationship. I don't know if you'll read this review Blake, but thank you for your blessing. I came to Jesus out of the occult (actual witchcraft) over a decade ago, have always had an unusual awareness of spiritual realities around me, and sometimes have some really extreme forms of discernment that I largely suppress, even when sharing in prophetic circles. Even though it's completely specific and accurate, very few of my closest friends have really seen me walk in it because I've had limited success in exposing people to Spiritual realities and still keeping intimacy with Jesus at the center of it all. Your writing really broke down my barriers, and Jesus used it to remind me of many old promises to really use my gifting for his kingdom. I bought a few copies of your book, but otherwise don't really know how else to bless you. "I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you in return." In the name of Jesus, in my authority as a co-heir, a son, and brother, may the Father explode his blessing over your intimacy, submission, and gratitude within him as he continues to spread your influence. I was introduced to this book in 2020, when I first came to Christ. I was so young in my faith though that it was overwhelming from what I was reading so I. Ever finished and put it down. In 2024 I began going to a church that grew people in the knowledge of the Holy Spirit and their individual giftings. Not until three days ago I went to my Kindle app and noticed that I hard purchased this book nd it was sitting in my library. I felt a nudge from the Holy Spirit and read it in 3 days and could not put it down. Everything made sense. Nothing seemed crazy or too overbearing. And it explained every question I had from being prophesied over as a “seer” I have not seen much yet but I always said God touches my brain and I see things in chunks. I am excited to deepen my relationship with the Lord by spending time with Him and intentionally asking Him to show me what He wants me to see. Thank you Blake Healy for this amazing read. I won’t forget it.

When I heard Blake speak on a YouTube video and then on a podcast, I knew that his book was a must-read! Sure enough, what he has to share in his book was just what I had hoped for. Blake tells his story of seeing into the spirit world in a way that helps the reader understand more fully the depth of God's immense love and forgiveness for us, His power to protect, and the reality that our battle is not against flesh and blood. I appreciate that Blake does not sensationalize, nor does he try to explain everything, yet the scenes he depicts are unforgettable. You'll come away with more questions than you had before, but in a good way. My heart was encouraged and my spiritual eyes were opened by reading The Veil.

This book was AMAZING. I have never sat and read a book, outside of the bible where I could physically feel the Holy Spirit during reading in its entirety. Besides what other reviews have said about the book, Blake does a really great job of not just explaining what a seer is, the different types of angels and many great stories, but he also dives into the importance of understanding that the blessing isn't in seeing the angels or demons - it is in understanding who our Maker is and the great love He has for us. The greatness is in the Giver, not the gifts. There are so many great words that Blake supplies in his book, I have found myself just highlighting and going back and rereading. I received this book this week, started reading it on Friday and finished it Saturday evening. I couldn't put the book down and was in constant awe in the reminder of how much God loves us and how much He pursues us. Lastly, I was really enlightened by Blake's testament of our identity and authority in Christ. I grew up in a church that condemned Harry Potter books and advocated its burning as well as kept you in a perpetual state of "opening a door for Satan". The Veil served as a great reminder of the authority that we carry as Christians, we don't have to walk in fear of stepping on the figurative crack. Overall this book provided a deeper understanding of the spiritual realm, but also more importantly the lavish, deep, insurmountable love that Christ has for us. Just reading that was the main reason why I have already gifted this book to two other sisters in Christ as well.

A book of such hope and faith and evidence of the need for our belief in the Word of God. Healy's description of God seeing into the hearts of people was the part that I loved the most and that alone makes this journey with Healy so worth it. I read it in 24 hours. Healy is a gifted storyteller. I'm going to read more of his work.

The book is helpful to expand our conception and knowledge of what is the most real aspect of life, the unseen, spiritual dynamic. I enjoyed the book and recommend it.

This book changed the way I saw the world and gave so much insight to what’s going on around us spiritually. Fascinating. I finished it in less than 12 hours.

Beautifully written with a focus on God's goodness , his victory and his kingdom. Easy to read in one go

This is an extraordinary book.. a tale of a young mans access into the realm of the spirit …. It is challenging, encouraging, stimulating and at times a little scary. Perhaps access that the Lord is offering to a generation.. as Daniel speak prophetically about a generation that will ‘know their God, shall prevail and prosper.’ I’m sure this book will become a must read for a hungry generation . One slightly annoying thing for me was that I purchased the audio version accidentally when I purchased the book on kindle … (pressed the wrong button) so I decided to use that as I read … however it is significantly different to to the written page .. one or the other is a more recent edit with entire pages missing and even some names changed … nevertheless even though this was a little irritating I pressed through with both …And enjoyed the experience of being read to as I read the book. I Recommend this book to those that are desiring more and those that long to press in beyond the veil.
