Colavita Pasta - Whole Wheat Cut Fusilli, 1 Pound - Pack of 20

i like that this is a firm pasta, feels al dente. the taste is great and much better than white pasta. though wheat is much better in carbs and sugars, this pasta seems to affect my glucose just about the same as standard pasta.

Love this healthy pasta. It's not loaded up with sugar or any other unhealthy additives, it's not caked in starch like some whole wheat brands you'll find, and it doesn't take much longer to cook than white pasta. Will be purchasing again for sure.

2023 update:We've been subscribed and purchasing WW fusilli for 3 years now, and it has become a staple for my son (he has sensory disorder and OCD). Unfortunately, the recent November delivery was an updated package for Colvita and the pasta is very different in both shape and size. Now my son won't eat it, we will, but I really get this for him, so I'm very disappointed. Now I need to look for a new wwPasta brand/shape. The average person won't likely be concerned about this issue, but it's such a bummer when a product changes and you can no longer have the one you loved :( The picture shows the new/different packaging, and the noodles on the left are those we've loved for years, and the ones on right are new/ different/ need a few more minutes cooking as well. We usually bring to boil, then cook for 7 min for al dente, and these can take 9 min, plus the original fusilli mostly keeps the shape in the photo, yet the new 'fusilli' super puffs and looks a lot more like the pasta commonly used in a cold pasta salad.Original 2020 review:I was looking for whole wheat pasta because it's not always easy to find in the shape we want. My whole family eats exclusively wwpasta (we prefer the taste!) and my son has special needs and high sensitivities to... everything. He really likes certain shapes of wwpasta, and who wants to tamper with that? I purchased this in single pack from Wal-mart online when I couldn't find fusili before and so I searched up Colvita here. A 40-pack came up, ha! But they work out to a good price, so I was like, yeah, let's do this bulk buy! They arrived in a Colvita box and were in great condition (unlike some food purchases online). My son loves them and I have to say I feel relieved to have so many that I don't have to worry about it for a while. I find that this brand and many others out there have a slight sweet/ nutmeg note of flavor. You wouldn't notice this with a normal sauce, but I sometimes eat a nice pasta with butter and parm, so I notice it. All wwpasta does not have this slight taste, but I'd say half of the brands I've tried do. My son still loves it, so we'll happily purchase it, but I personally would prefer that it didn't have that flavor note. Still great product! Would recommend! Save with S&S :)

Love these taste so good don't over cook

I ordered whole wheat pasta. The first box I got was what I ordered, and I have no complaints. The second box that came was white, pasta instead of the whole wheat that I ordered. Unfortunately, I didn’t open the box right away, so it’s too late to send back. Be sure you check you bowl of pasta when it arrives to be sure they actually sent what you ordered!

good pasta, but the 7 min cooking time printed on the package is a joke. it needs at least 12 mins
