Enjoyable & entertaining
I enjoyed this book. There was quite a bit of drama & it was exciting. I will continue with this series. How does James Patterson keep up with all of these series? I have enjoyed them all so far!

Black Book
A real page turner. Couldn't put it down. Kept me guessing who the real criminals were. One of Pattersons better novels to-date

Page turner
I really enjoyed this story. Very interesting, full of unexpected twists and turns. End totally different from what I expected, but I loved it. A true page turner, couldn’t put it down. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

GreatRead
This has so many twists and turns it’s almost impossible to keep up. As always, the ending doesn’t disappoint. Read it!

Great read
Love the twists. I read this book on a whim. Needed something to read. Chose a Patterson book. I’m glad I did%

Page turner!
Even though it went from past to present and visa versa, it flowed. It provided the continuity of the events. The past provided the why and the present provided the consequences.

The Black Book
Enjoyed the book, but I think it would have been better in 3rd person past. On the other hand, it was definitely a great story and kept me interested. The end was shocking--I never I never would have suspected either of the perps.

Patterson at his best
Having been a great fan of Patterson for many years I have been disappointed in his recent ones written in collaboration with A N Other authors and had begun to believe that his role in producing a novel nowadays was merely allowing his name to appear on the cover to ensure sales and in collecting the royalties.Thankfully, The Black Book has reinstated him as one of my favourite authors. It's an absolute page turner, its many nail biting twists and turns defeating my efforts to guess the conclusion, which is only revealed in the last few pages. I cannot wait to read its successor, The Red Book, which wil have a hard time to match the pace of its predecessor..

The Black Book
I really rate James Patterson as an amazing crime and law author of thrilling books but I prefer when he writes on his own and not as a co-author. I enjoyed this story very much but it just lacked something and I cannot say what exactly! It just seemed to miss a beat! I read all of the Alex Cross books solely written by Mr Patterson which were utterly amazing, enthralling and every other expletive I can think of, along with all the other James Patterson series I've read. I just couldn't bring myself to give this story 5 stars even though the plot was brilliant as are the characters, but it just lacked the brilliance of a singularly written James Patterson book.

Gripping Crime Thriller
The first book in what is so far a trilogy (may be more to come in this series) Love reading James Patterson books anyway but there are so many twists and turns in this that I didn't want to put it down, best book he's written in a long time and leaves you craving more - great storyline and fantastic characters, when you finish this you will want to start book two immediately, read this thrill a minute book and enjoy the ride

The Black Book by James Patterson
I really enjoyed this book which has completely new characters. The story has twists and turns that keep you guessing right until you read who the criminals are. Every time I thought I'd worked it out another twist in the story. The 2nd book in the series is due to follow soon.

Disappointed
I have always liked James pattersons books, but honestly I was bored and couldn't wait to finish it. I am a prolific reader and ploughed on until the end hoping it would redeem itself... But no. Read his early stuff it's far better.
