I have used these rods when trolling for pelagic fish and have landed big fish with no problems, these rods are very well made and very durable for deep sea trolling. I would definitely recommend them if you’re fishing for giant fish/sharks etc.

Really like this rod. Seems well made and strong. I was setting the drag on my reel and hanged a 45lb weight off it. Held it fine and didn’t even creek. If you ever hanged a 45lb weight off a rod you’ll know how much pressure I’m talking about. I have my reel set at 35lbs at strike and very confident it will be fine. Only thing I had to do was cut off the roller tip and install a proper one. The one that comes with the reel is too low and the line will rub on the rod before the roller tip. I ordered a pac bay .250” tip. Just get a cut off wheel and carefully slice it with touching the rod too much. Once you see the black show stop. Then grab a plier and twist it off. The heat from the grinding will loosen the glue. Sand the tip clean and wipe it down with acetone. Then get some epoxy and glue on the the new tip. Perfect rod now! Shouldn’t have to do this on a brand new rod but for a the price of the rod why not. That or spend hundreds more for something else. I don’t plan on using it often. Just needed to have something for those just in case trips.

This is my 6th Fiblink rod, and I cannot praise the product enough.I have a friend who spends a TON of money for their set-ups, and they are always saying they should have listened to me about Fiblink.I am going Bluefin fishing later this month with this one. I put a Penn Squall Lever Drag 2-Speed 60 reel on this pole, with 100 lb braid. I cannot wait to land a 200 lb+ tuna on this rod!

What can I say came with a nice soft case I will never use but cool if I did. The rod is nice quality and for the price I feel like it would lift the titanic off the bottom. This is a strong rod and you can confidently hook big fish and rest assure that it will out last your gear in the fishes mouth.

This straight rod will NOT take a Penn International 80 reel like the bent butt rod of the same line weight does.

Outstanding work was done to create this rod. The craftsman ship is amazing very strong and stout rod. With the pandemic going on and a shortage of equipment in the stores this was a great alternative. For a rod of this caliber to be purchased at a pro shop you would have to pay a few hundred bucks for it and that’s even if they have them to sell. Shipping was fast arrived on time.
