Purina Tidy Cats Clumping Cat Litter, Tidy Max 4 in 1 Strength Multi Cat Litter - 38 lb. Box

Sorry for the long review but some things need to be explained about this litter. This is very good cat litter. But some people in the question section and reviews has gotten this cat litter confused with the 4 in 1 cat litter that comes in the 35 lb. bucket. I've used the purina tidy cat 4 in 1 in the black and yellow 35 lb. bucket for several years. And it got to where it didn't clump as good and started being more dusty in the last couple of years. I even contacted purina about this and ask them why they had changed it because it didn't work as good anymore. Of course they said they hadn't changed anything about it. But anyway then I noticed awhile back they had came out with this that looked similar but with the words TIDY MAX on it at a higher price. So I know now why the other quit working as good. I bought this and it works like the litter in the bucket used to maybe a little better. It clumps great and isn't as dusty. Just like the litter in the bucket used to work. This is the only cat litter besides the 4 in 1 in the bucket that cat little girl will use besides fresh step. She would rather pee in the floor than use anything else. I didn't like the strong fragrance in fresh step is why I changed to the tidy cat 4 in 1 several years ago. This has a very light pleasant fragrance. The reason I gave this a try is because like I said the litter in the bucket doesn't work as good anymore. So if you want a great cat litter without a strong fragrance and isn't dusty this is a good litter. It also hides odor very good. So I will be using this from now on. I just pour it up in the bucket I had from the regular 4 in 1 because the box is heavy and hard to handle. Also with any cat litter you need to wait a minute or 2 after your baby pees before trying to scoop it out. Because the litter needs a minute, little time to settle into a clump. I noticed some people talking about trying to scoop as soon as their baby is through. Like I said if you will wait a minute after your baby pees the litter will be clumped, hold together a lot better when you scoop it out. I really appreciate Amazon delivery because I'm disabled and can't drive and it's hard for me to wag around this heavy box and my mail man always brings it to my porch for me. So do yourself and your baby a favor and get this great litter. I hope I helped settle the confusion going on about the 2 different cat litters and helped someone pick a good cat litter for their baby,babies! I bought this litter because my usual brand, Arm & Hammer, was unavailable during these trying times of Covid-19. I absolutely regret my purchase. First, the box is awful, trying to dump this into the litter box is a pain because it's literally just a box with a punch hole. I get that you're maybe supposed to buy this as a bucket refill? I don't know, never buying this again, so whatever.Second, it doesn't clump 99% of the time, and the 1% of the time when it does, it doesn't matter, because it's mostly DOESN'T CLUMP. And since it doesn't clump, that leads to problem #3: It smells horrible. Usually clumping litter deodorizes the smells because the piss that gets clumped is covered by litter. Since this doesn't clump, it doesn't deodorize the smell. Which totally defeats the purpose of me even buying CLUMPING deodorizing litter.I'm just moving over to Chewy.com for all my litter needs at this point, since Amazon seems to hate delivering cat litter (both this product, in which the package was heavily damaged because the delivery person just kind of dropped it, probably multiple times? I don't know, but then later deliveries for other cat litter were canceled by Amazon for no apparent reason? Cool.)Thanks, I hate it.

I been using this brand/type of litter with Pipin for years now. He seems to like it fine, and it smells nice. Problem is this is the first time I got a box this big, and I was expecting it to have a plastic handle or something. There are none. So it took a bit for me to get things situated with it. A warning.. if you get the big box. It's really heavy, and you gottah lift with your knees and not your back. Just leave it on the floor or something near the litter box and use a scoop or else the struggle will be real with this one!

That cat litter is great but I will be getting it some place else. Every month it's late by a day or 2 this time it was over a week there customer service rep Peter was rude couldn't understand why I was mad had to reorder and some strange reason I got it 12 hours later. I feel they should have done more then I'm sorry let me reorder it for you. They didn't even call me today to see if I received it like they said they would.i am really unhappy about the whole deal after being a prime member as long as I have been you would think they would want me happy

I'm searching for a new litter since my favorite Fresh Step Unscented has gotten so hard to find. Unfortunately, this isn't it. First, the box is super heavy and I barely made it up the three flights of stairs to my apartment since it doesn't have any helpful handle or handholds. Second, it barely clumps, so when scooping, half the used litter remains in the box, and third and most importantly, the perfume smell is HORRIBLE. It doesn't say on the box that it is scented, but it definitely is, and as soon as anyone uses it, that perfume smell becomes stronger and stronger. I'm scooping multiple times a day to try to keep the fragrance down, but to no avail. One of my cats stopped using the box altogether and is now going outside the box, which has never been a problem before. I will never be ordering this again.

es algo cara, pero es una buena opción. tiene un buen control de olor, es lo suficientemente aglutinante para limpiar con facilidad el arenero. la uso en un arenero compartido por dos gatitas y, con limpieza diaria, tiene buen rendimiento. muy recomendable.
