Moleskine Cahier Journal, Soft Cover, Large (5" x 8.25") Ruled/Lined, Black, 80 Pages (Set of 3)

Light and easy to carry. No flashy logo. Perforated. Good quality paper. Thread binding. And the feel of the cardboard cover. As a perfectionist and minimalist, I think this journal is the best.

This was to restock on these notebooks which I find to be the perfect size, with perfect line spacing, and flexible by sturdy cover. The design allows me to use notebooks on a surface or on the go. I love that there are so many pages as well. Plus the pocket always comes in handy. I ordered the wrong size, but this smaller size is great too. I will never have enough notebooks!

Great little notebooks. Not priced much higher than the crappy student notebooks, with far nicer paper. The size is just perfect as well, about a half sheet of paper and sits right on top of an iPad mini. I use the plan paper versions for sketchbooks, and the larger versions with the [more] durable but flexible covers for my main sketchbooks. I've tried other imitations but the paper isn't as nice to write or draw on. I just use a Bic Atlantis pen and my artist lead holders, nothing that might bleed. But the paper feels durable enough that belles would not be an issue. A somewhat handy pocket built into the back cover. It does cause ridges in your writing when you get close to the end of the journal though. But nice to have regardless. Worth the few extra bucks for a nice paper stock if that stuff makes a difference to you as it does me.

These are my favorite moleskins for journaling, for making lists, for pretty much anything. They are small enough where I can feel like I can “fill” a journal or writing goal, but not overly small to where I’m not inspired to write in it. The covers are simple and aesthetically cute, and you could also collage or draw on them if you want to personalize. These also make great gifts.

These are probably one of my favorite small journals because of their thin profile. It fits in my bible and I can close it easily. I can put my work one in my planner or purse and it’s not bulging. It worked really well for work and travel, because of the profile. It has a little two sided flap/pocket in the back which was perfect for business cards or receipts. It wasn’t super stable though if it got full though. (If this pocket was more secure I’d give it 5 Stars) The pages are thin, so If you use a really inky pen you’ll have bleed through so just know what you like and use because it might not work for you as well. If you use a ball point you are fine.

Simple yet nice. The thin-lined ruling has a nice aesthetic to it. I am able to handwrite using small print (usually when writing fast and expressively) so the smaller lines make this practice much easier. Not to mention, the page looks quite beautiful when filled with prose. The thin booklet and compact size makes it easy to take anywhere. Also, it makes for a nice collection of my written work when sitting on my bookshelf.

Awesome journals. I have been using these for years. You cant go wrong with Molskine.

Me gusta mucho el color, ojalá lo hubiera en otras versiones fuera de los cahier. Como sea, son muy prácticos para anotar cosas cuando no quieres cargar mucho, y el hecho de que sean cahiers me gusta más porque así cuando se termina uno puedo continuar con otro y posteriormente juntarlos sin el temor de perder el orden de los apuntes. Pienso cambiar mis cuadernos de anotaciones en la escuela por cahiers posteriormente. Los amo.
