Not even close to a slim fit
I'm 6'4". 225 lbs., athletic build, and ordered an XL. This was boxier than most "classic fit" polos I've tried on. Almost square cut, it was too short and the sleeves were way too loose. The only part that was similar to a real slim fit was the shorter-than-normal length of the sleeves, so they ended up looking ridiculous (and I have large arms). Unless you're short and chubby, look elsewhere for a slim fit.

Like a cheap Kohl's shirt, but a couple bucks more
Won't be buying any more of these. It is weird, fabric is very soft, but by the end of the day it looks like I have dirt in every wrinkle and pore on my neck due to the fibers shedding. I don't like the cut, the way it hangs, and how shabby I look by the end of the day. The cheap box store polos are half the price and of a similar quality.I'm 45, 6'2", 255. I am not a slim fit figure but all of my Essentials shirts fit well. This one does not. I will be sticking with the other offerings at or below this price.

Yellow color is not bright it’s a mustard yellow
Color not as expected....it was pictured as bright yellow. It’s actually is a mustard yellow. Quality looks good, just not the color as expected.

NOT ALL SHIRTS ARE MADE ALIKE!
After receiving a shipment of Hanes Eco-Smart Shirts and then my Amazon Essentials shirts I found the following differences:The Hanes large size shirt was roomier, the pocket was lower, the top in line with bottom of the buttons, as it should be.The Amazon Essential large size shirt was little tighter, with the pocket way too high, and slightly smaller.

Keeping it clean!
(6", 44 inch chest, 35 waist, arms about 16 inches.) Loved these polos through summer! Affordable enough to buy the white polos and laugh at the guarantee that they will never be bright white again very long.I suppose for the price and apparent quality, they may be dry cleaned; the white polos but they do wash well so other colors shouldn't be dry clean necessary.If you have the frame for it, good; you probably look good in anything athletically cut so try it. Buy the bright white and watch people treat you like an angel. If you are not ready, buy and get to work! Next summer will be here maybe soon enough.

This is a very nice shirt. The color is exactly as in the picture. Fits well. Material is soft and comfortable

first impressions: good fit. 5'9, 150lbs. Medium.
Good overall fit, not tight, not loose.Fit: -i'm 5'9" with a 32" inseam on most pants. Slim, but slightly athletic build.Shirt: -Medium weight (so maybe not the best summer polo)Look: Can be worn outside of pants for me as the shirt is not overly long.Other Amazon Polo's: I bought the Pique 2 button Polo, and the upper fit is the same, however a lot longer so that one is more tuckable.Overall: Good shirt for the price ($13) for first impressions. Will update after a few washes/wears.
