Pro Force Rebreakable Boards

This board was purchased for a 7yr old who’s a green belt in MMA This board is sufficient in helping with technique, though after a few breaks, the board is a bit easier to break then the initial strike. (It took my 7yr old green belt 2 strikes to break this board.)I’m happy that we went with the blue board rather then the yellow, as our warrior has mastered the blue and is now ready for the red.Overall this is an excellent product and we are very happy with this purchase.Pros- it’s a re-breakable board and can be broken again and again!If hit incorrectly, the board doesn’t snap!My son is OBSESSED with this item. (He is able to reset the board on his own.) and takes the initiative to practice his art form often.Cons- the item becomes a bit weaker after the 1st few good snaps.The foam is easily scratched and damaged. If not used properly, it could easily become damaged. (Like anything that’s foam)Overall this is an excellent product, we have already recommended this to other warriors at our dojo! We will absolutely be purchasing the next two boards when we are ready for them!

My 4 year old has been in karate for about 6 months now, and recently asked for his own board to practice at home. I wasn't sure which one to get him so I decided to start with the thinnest (yellow) board, and it turned out to be perfect for his skill level. Out of box the board was extremely stiff and difficult to slide back together but that was expected with something new. It got a little easier once I figured out how to align the ends properly. I had to re-assemble the board for my son a few times at first, but after about a dozen uses the ends became much easier to mate and the boards began sliding in place quicker. From there he's been able to consistently do it himself with ease.The quickest, easiest and safest way I found to slide these together is as follows: 1) Carefully get the ends started/mated, 2) Hold the lower half firmly against the floor with one hand, 3) Using the other hand and some leverage, push the top half straight down. It should slide right down and stop against the floor. Be very careful when assembling this board, especially if kids are doing it because the edges around the mating area are sharp, which could result in one getting poked, cut or pinched if you slip.It's been about 4 weeks since I purchased it and my son and his friends use it almost daily. The kids love it, and it's a great practice aid. So far it's held up nicely and has already paid for itself in terms of the number of breaks so I'm more than satisfied with this product and will be ordering the next level board once this one becomes too easy.

My son used this to practice for his Taekwondo classss.

It only works for about a week. Then you can push it with your pinky and it comes apart. Not worth the money.

I've bought the same (yellow) board before but this time, I also bought a blue one. These boards are for my 6 year old boy who is no in jr. black belt in TaeKownDo. The first yellow board we bought a year ago wore out from repeated use almost every day. Not bad for the money. The newer yellow board is still a little stiff but in time it will loosen up a bit. Even then, my son had no problem breaking the yellow board. Wasn't as easy as the older, worn out board we replaced. Only thing he could do was to punch through it. I bought the blue board so he could develop more powerful kicks but it's still a little too tough for him. It's just a matter of time before he could move on the blue board.The quality of these boards are amazing. I bought the original yellow Pro Force board outside of Amazon at a higher price because we needed to get the board that same day. The price on Amazon is a lot better and shipping turned out to be pretty fast too. Saves a lot of money from buying wooden board just for practice. We love the board so much and high recommend it to everyone looking for rebreakable boards to practice their martial arts.

Great product for practicing breaking boards.

I ordered these to help get ready for a tournament... I ordered blue, red and black... The blue board, which is the one I really needed, it didn't make it 2 weeks- I'm not sure how both ends got slightly bent on a break from a 5 year old... But stuff happens I suppose. The red board is holding up well, although it is tough for a now 6 year old to break. My 12 year old is still working on the black board, it is holding up great! We do not use these on a daily basis... But will use 1-2x a week to prepare for a tournament. They are nice and I would recommend them, as they do save you money from buying real wood boards!! Also- they are fun!

Exactly what we were looking for! My 3 year old is in Karate and they break boards in class. At first this board was slightly difficult to break, but that definitely eases with use. My 10 and 7 year old sons can break it on their own, my 3 year old can almost break it, but he needs a small amount of assistance. This board easily slides together so children, parents, and instructors should have no trouble with this task. My sons have broken this board over and over and over again, there are no signs of wear or stress, besides the fact the board gets easier to break with use (which is what I had expected). I think this product will hold up for years to come with no structural issues or defects.Fun item for all martial arts enthusiasts!Shipped fast and on time. Great seller!
