Best Scope In This Price Range
There was a mistake in filling my order and I received the same scope in 3-9x40 instead. The seller offered me a partial refund if I would keep the scope I received, which is what I did after realizing that I really liked the wrong scope.I give this scope 5 stars while taking the price into account. I would not say that it comes close to a Leupold or Shepherd scope. But I would, however, put it up against a higher line Weaver or Nikon scope. Considering the price, that says a lot. This scope is very bright... the amount of light that comes through is impressive. After playing with this scope on my AK-47 for a while, I used it to replace a Weaver K6 on my 30-06. The difference in clarity and light gathering is huge. I have no issue at all in taking out a small animal like a rabbit at dusk at the 200 yard range. That's overkill for a rabbit, but it would be easy to do with my rifle/scope combo. The scope seems well built. Caps over the adjustments are machined aluminum and not plastic. I clamped the scope rings down tight and have not crushed the tube, so it is sufficiently stout. It maintained zero even after my cased gun fell over onto the carpeted floor. When I made this purchase, I wasn't able to shell out 5X this price for a scope, so I decided to see what I could do on the cheap. I am very happy that I got a scope of this quality at such a low price.

Tasco World Class Riflescopes
Tasco scopes are excellent quality for the money and they are durable and quite functional . For a pretty good scope at a very reasonable price try a Tasco . I think you will like it .

Tasco World Class 3-9x50 Riflescope w/30/30 Reticle
Excellent clarity and light collection. My only peeve is that it is not rubber armored and offered in black or flat dark earth color. Please Tasco put rubber armor on these scopes. Great reticule. Now I just have to get some mounts and dial it in. It's a great spotting scope for now and worth the money just for that.

Surprise!
This scope was a surprise actually. I didn't expect much for the price I paid but I got a real nice clear scope. The quality is amazing for the price point. I paid more for other Air Rifle scopes and they simply are not as well made or as clear.

useable
decent scope for the price, don't expect Leupold but optics are clear, good scope so far, have only fired 40 rounds [30-06] under it, stayed on target.

It works and is truly internally braced for recoiling airguns
Mine has lived for 6 months now on my Beeman Rx -1 (HW 90) and though I’ve de-tuned it for much less power and hence more accuracy, it’s still not recoilless. The Tasco tracks, holds zero and is surprisingly clear for the little price I paid. I actually liked it enough to buy another at Midway for another gun. I am in the recess of returning a well know brand of scope which failed on another recoiling gun I own which cost over double the Tasco. With Bushnell owning Tasco the warranty should be good if needed. Get one.

no quality control check
I am very upset... this is the fourth rifle scope that I have put on my rifle in thelast three or four months...all are made by different companies (I suspect this is nottrue) and they all have the same problems: (1) the controls are reversed... and that wouldnot be a major problem ...if the shooter knew it...(2) but the screw up on the controls isa red flag that the internal components are very likely ...also messed up...I just returnedfrom the range where I test fired this scope....I had bore sighted it the day before...somy first shot was within three or four inches....I made a 16 click adjustment (down) and a9 click adjustment (right)...the second shot hit about 1 inch higher than the first shot...moving the controls did not adjust the scope.... the thing all the scopes have in common:(1) all are 6 - 24 x 42... (2) all are made in china... I bought the tasco scope becauseI was trying to get away from rifle scopes made in china....I thought tasco rifle scopeswere made in japan!!!!!...I am going to contact amazon customer service to return thisscope....someone should check the tasco stock you have on hand and determine how manyother scopes are screwed up....before you send them to customers!!!!! Great Scope
This is an awesome scope! I put it on my 30-06 and love it! I was in debate on the 3x9-40 or the 3x9-50, I went with the 3x9-50 and am glad I did. I have only range shot this scope out to 300yds and was impressed with how clear it is. It's not as clear as my VX-III I have on my Ruger 280 but at about 1/10 the price it is well worth it. I've put about 20 shots through my rifle and never had to re-zero it. I feel more than comfortable taking an Elk with this scope 300-500 yds, if I can't call them closer that is.
