Very nice trash can! I like the finish and it seems sturdy. I just got it a couple of days ago so I will revisit in a few months if it needs updating for some reason. As an added bonus my cats LOVE the box it arrived in. I was going to take it to the basement and break it down but one of them (I have 2) is parked in it a good bit of the day. Dean, my crazy tuxedo goes nuts in there chasing his tail in there. He has never chased his tail in his life that I know of and I have had them for 9 years. Fun to watch for sure. So I am very happy, I not only got a great new trash can that will help me reorganize my kitchen pantry but also now have new cat entertainment to boot for free. I have included a photo of where it is sitting behind my cabinets with the added bonus of the photobomb by the cat not currently sitting in the box.

This is a great price for a stainless trash can of this size. The can itself and the pedal are both sturdy. The lid provides security for dogs or other animals to not get in the trash. The lid also gently closes which is nice and secures trash odor. Being a previous owner of a stainless trash can that required batteries, it is so much more practical and convenient to have this stainless trash can that requires no batteries.

Wanted a "nice enough" trash can in new kitchen. This is nice looking and not obnoxiously priced! Also no fancy motion detector to worry about, just a good old-fashioned step pedal! Easy to keep clean. Keeps kitchen odors contained. Very happy with this purchase!

I wish it had a little bit bigger structure to it. I like the rectangular thing but I think it should be a little bit bigger than two fit trash bags and they’re not huge, but but I do like it and it’s working out well, so other than that, I’m good.

After 2 ebattery operated trash cans that will fail after a year or two and the frustration of waiting for them to open, went retro and we absolutely love this product. Will never again have an electric trash can, they are trash.

A few months ago, I bought a Glad plastic trash can for my kitchen. Big mistake. The can sucks. It has a step pedal as well and any time you use the pedal it moves the trash can around because it’s plastic. With that being said, I love this Amazon trash can. It’s sturdy and I really like the insert. In our previous trash can, if anything leaked we would have to take the whole can outside and rinse/wash it out. With this one, you can simply remove the insert and wash it out. Much easier. When you step on the pedal it doesn’t move around the can. The lid does have soft close and it seems to be working good so far, if you open the lid all the way it will stay open. The trash bag is not visible from the outside. I will say it isn’t very “smudge proof” but that doesn’t bother me, I just wipe it down every once in a while. Overall so far, 5/5 stars. Not bad price, either.

This trash bin is high quality, the plastic bin that holds the bag exits the casing easily and is easy to clean incase of a ripped bag. The lid stays shut when its supposed to and is pretty rigid, so the dogs can't open it unless they figure out the step pad.

Very sturdy trash can. Perfect size for the kitchen. I find that it does smudge but that's not enough for me not to like it. I love the removable can liner. Well worth the buy.
