While it is not very large, so if you have a big seat, it might be difficult to stay on it or feel centered on it. I'm also not sure it is best for car or travel unless you really need something firm and can sit squarely on it.It is well made though and very firm, which is what i wanted. I don't have a lot of back issues but wanted to use it my car where the drivers seat is losing some of its support.It being firm puts you up in the air another 2 inches or so, so might not work for talll people in a car.While this product is well made and likely good as a meditation cushion as well, due to its small size and it adding to one's height, probably not for everyone.Also wish it came with a cover to protect it. I'm looking for something that migh work in that regards. At this price it is worth protecting and likely will last a long time..

We were embarking on a very long road trip (over 6000 miles), and my husband had a sore hamstring from running, which he was concerned would affect his ability to drive for any length of time. I suggested we buy this cushion for him to use in the car, as I had used one from this company in the past and found it to be very helpful. My husband was DELIGHTED with it...it allowed him to drive pain free and actually helped the hamstring recover. When the trip was finished, his leg wasn't sore any longer and he was huge fan of the "Tush Cush"! Thank you!

The cushion is firm enough and it boosts me taller in the car so I can see out.But the pillow stops in the middle of my thigh, so it cuts off the circulation in my leg the whole time I'm driving to work.

Having been disappointed in cushions that I purchased in the past, I was hesitant in purchasing this cushion. However when you suffer severe pain as I have been enduring for a couple of months - I was motivated to try this cushion. My most severe pain occurs while driving as I have L4-L5 lumbar stenosis in which case I would feel sharp pain on my calf and my foot felt felt like it had a nail hammered into it. Generally between 1 to 3 miles my pain level was driving was 10 in which case, I would have to stop the car and walk off the pain.Once I used it in my car, the results were impressive. While it did not completely eliminate the pain, no longer did my foot feel like it had a nail driven into it and I am able to drive without having to stop. The pain level had been reduced from (6 to 10) to (1 to 4). Not perfect but a life saver. No longer do I need to rely on others driving me around.

This item (as sold by BIGFLY) is the "compu cush" on the tushcush website. I purchased this cushion per the advice of my physical therapist along with the original tush cush and find the compu cush fits the bucket seat of my 2017 subaru forester much better. The cushion isn't too firm or too soft (I've also tried the clever yellow cushion and it is too firm for me). Keep in mind it is only 13 inches wide so it may not fit some hips. Like most memory foam, it has a slight odor to it which went away after leaving it unzipped in my garage overnight. All around great, well made and supportive product!

I got this for my GMC Sierra pick-up. IMO, it is too small and if I had to do it over again, I would have gone for the regular Tush Cust which is wider. It's also difficult to get it to stay on the seat when you are sliding into your seat. I helped that by putting a tie wrap around the cushion strap and the back metal frame of the seat.Otherwise, it serves it's purpose well. It raises the seat height (this truck has manual seats)and adds support to your back and buttocks.

I have broken my tailbone twice and have seen every type of doctor for it. Even had surgery to kill the nerves, which only worked for a short while. A doctor recommended this to me and I have used it for 15 years. I have one in my car, in my work chair, I carry one on the plane, and I travel every other week. I hated to carry it with me on the plane and to offices, I visit for work, but it is to worth it. This product WILL fit into a backpack with a laptop and all the cords that go with the laptop. The only thing I do not like about the product is it does collect people and dog hair - a lint brush does remove it. I have recommended this to so many friends and it has helped them. Will continue to use this product.
