The cutest hard-working overalls you'll ever own!
I can't say enough about these very well-made, adorable and versatile Carhartt overalls! Not only are they cute, but they are super comfortable with plenty of roominess and stretch, and the fabric is very strong. I bought these to work in my yard, where I do a lot of kneeling. I can easily kneel down in mulch or brush up against thorns and the fabric protects my skin. I'm 5'2" and a bit of an athletic build, and I purchased a Medium. They were VERY LONG, so I had to have them professionally hemmed, but that was the only drawback. No worries if you have a 34" inseam! These will be plenty long. This is my first Carhartt purchase and I would buy these again in a heartbeat. I can see why the brand is known for durability. Great buy!

Love them! Actually fit my small person needs
These are super comfortable. Exactly what I was looking for. Lightweight and not stiff at all to hinder mobility in them. Great value at the sale price so I ordered two pairs. They don’t smell if that were an issue for some people, other than “new”. The top clips may be slightly tricky to undo if you are pushing it running to the toilet in a frantic, but I like that they don’t unlock easily with slack in the straps, like other overalls have. Easy to get on and off with loose fit. I’m 5’3” and got the XS short. I have the straps almost all the way out so they don’t look like high waters or go up my crotch when bending all the way at the knee. Reinforced knees aren’t super thick, good for bending and will use a knee pad when on concrete anyway for joints @39yrs old. Large torso pouch would make it easy to layer, but I’m only 100lbs so I could fit a sweater or 2. Love the pockets of many sizes, the zipper chest pocket and places for tools to hang. I’m glad I got two. The light pair is almost too cute to ruin actually working in, I may have to order a 3rd! I LOVE these!!

Size is perfect!
These overalls are so comfortable! I absolutely love wearing them and they are very durable! I got the XXL Short size and I’m 5’0” and weigh 230lbs. They fit wonderfully. They’re still a bit long in the legs for me but I just roll them up a bit and they’re perfect.

Completely awesome except the straps!
I love love love the fit and comfort of these overalls! They are soft as can be right out of the bag, stretchy, and feel like they’ll be really durable.I also love the warm brown color, which is a rusty earth time. I usually take a size Small in clothes but Medium was suggested for me, and it fits just right: roomy without being baggy, and surprisingly flattering. However! Fastening and unfastening the straps is strangely awkward. The little buttons are rectangular and have to be maneuvered just so through the metal clasps or they won’t go through. Not a good design at all. Especially if you’ve been working outside all day and dash in for a bathroom break at the last possible minute ; ) I don’t know why Carhartt would make that design choice, but oh well. Still a very good purchase!

Everything you want from Carhartt
It’s cute, roomy, insanely comfortable, and sturdy enough for rugged outside work, hunting, or hiking through thorns and brush. This thorough sizing review is for the short ladies with questions about the fit! I’m 5’4” 130lbs and I got the Small Short. The length is perfect. It’s roomy enough for layering under leggings and a hoodie in cold weather, but if I wanted a snugger fit I could have gone down to an XS. It does have a tiny bit of kangaroo pouch action in the low belly—and tightening the straps doesn’t help this, it just gives me a wedgie. But I’m also fairly flat-chested and I suspect it was made with the assumption there would need to be room for boobs. :) So, my short gals, if you have boobs, this is probably gonna be a perfect fit and the kangaroo pouch won’t be an issue.

Well made
I ordered the Carhartt overalls for when I deal with mulch in my garden. I got dark brown and love it.The fit. These are overalls used for working, not looking cute. They fit well and are a little tapered. From pocket to well past knee is reinforced. There are pockets on the bib. Smallish. The size of a a shovel handle or gardening shears. The straps are SO easy to lengthen and shorten. The metal piece that connects the straps to the front bib are incredible. One just turns the do-hickey, fit it through a metal "button hole". and easily pull it through. Great design.I got an XS as I'm 5' and under 120 pounds. The legs are likely a 32L like most jeans and pants. There is a little stretch. Rolling them up does not work. I will bring these to my tailor and have them shortened. It's worth it.

Love these, with one small quibble.
I wore these daily while replacing my large, 125 year old front porch. The thick material protected me well during the extensive demolition, with splintered wood and rogue nails everywhere. While repairing joists and installing composite boards, the many pockets were incredibly helpful for holding screws, tape measures, squares, and so much more.I'm 5'2 and 150 lbs, and I got the short large. The length was perfect with work boots; however, a medium would probably have fit better as I had plenty of room, even while wearing under layers. That being said, I appreciated the complete freedom of movement, so maybe I would stick with the large again as this was certainly not a fashion outfit. Here's my one criticism: my husband has the same pair of overalls (in men's). HIS pair has elastic on the shoulder straps while mine does not. I truly would have preferred the elastic. I have elastic shoulder straps on an REI pair of overalls and they are my favorite feature - I like my overalls! :)Overall (pun intended), these are great working overalls. But, hey Carhartt! Us ladies like stretchy shoulder straps, too!
