Neotech C.E.O. Comfort, Black Clarinet Strap (2301192)

I love this strap. I have never used a strap before when playing clarinet. However, I needed to take the pressure off of my teeth (I have an issue with clarinet and my front teeth, but I am determined to play). I read that this strap is not adjustable, but it is. I am about 5'6 and I purchased the "regular" size. I easily adjusted it to where it totally takes the pressure off, and there are several more inches it could shorten up still if I needed it to. It is a thick, padded neck cushion, this strap is awesome.

This neck strap alleviated my thumb issues, it's comfortable and easy to use!I purchased it in September 2007, and have yet to need a replacement!

I just used the strap for the first time. It is comfortable, functional, and enhances by clarinet practice experience. (My teacher recommended this product.) But it took me ten minutes to figure out how to attach it. I suggest adding at least of picture of an attached strap to the package and also a video demonstrating the attachmebnt procedure. Once I figured it out, it was quite easy.

Purchased as a replacement for my bass clarinet (low Eb). Recently used during a show run in a pit orchestra and also a clarinet choir, and it has served well thus far.I like my Neotech Sax straps and figured this would serve well too. Challenge was determining the right length as they are sized by "x-long, junior & regular" not by actual range of strap length, which would make a whole lot more sense IMO.All 3 sizes list "fits clarinet, oboe, English Horn" which offers no help in the sizing game.I give 5 stars for the product... marketing gets only 3 because of the inconclusive sizing!

The strap length is easy and quick to adjust. It is very lightweight. It effectively relieves the right hand thumb of having to support the entire weight of a clarinet. The hook at the end of the strap snaps securely into the tab that connects to the thumb rest. It is so much more ergonomic and comfortable to play the clarinet with the strap than without it. I strongly and unreservedly recommend it for C, B-flat and A clarinets.

This is advertised as working for oboe, clarinet, and English horn. I bought it on good faith, but it is WAY too short for English horn. I don't care if you are a midget--you need a longer strap (I'm 5'5). However, it seems of decent quality for the price, so I guess I'll give the X-long a shot. It claims to be 5 inches longer--hopefully that will be enough.It does seem to be the right length for oboe, but I don't use a neckstrap with my oboe.

It is well made and fits well but I had to make a cover for it. My son found it very scratchy.

I got this for my clarinet, because I was having wrist pain, and it has worked wonderfully! I have no more wrist/thumb pain when I play. In addition to that, the strap is cushy and comfortable on my neck.The locking mechanism is good, but I move around when I'm playing, and prefer to have it unlocked so that I can adjust it.Adjusting this is very simple, and really can be done with one finger! Just pushing the adjuster up or down changes the length.For a normal clarinet it is not too short at all, except perhaps if you are 10 feet tall.I wasn't sure about the tab and hook that attach it to the clarinet, but when it arrived, the tab fit perfectly over the thumb rest, and the hook slides in and out easily while staying secure when I'm playing.While it doesn't look really fancy, it works very, very well.
