Should Last 10 Years in Continuous Use
Have had one of these air pumps (same model and make) running continuously for about 15 years feeding air into my Nexus pond filtration unit, plus air stones in the pond. Contacted the very helpful UK manufacturer for technical advice. He said they should last at least 10 years and advised connecting a non-return valve in the output to prevent water siphoning back during interruption of power supply. Purchased one from Amazon (about £5) for peace of mind even though none was present for previous pump and no probs. Pump seemed noisy when first run to check but was much quieter on load. An excellent and well made air pump.

Good replacement air pump for septic tank
Easy to install, removed plug and passed through wall then reattached plug. Air outlet simple click and connect.

It says silent but its as loud as a hoover i wonder if this is normal? Thought fir the price if get a decent one
