It was exactly what I expected it would be. In excellent condition and not surprised by the informational facts.

Wonderful book

I liked this show, both the paintings and the sculptures. Book looks good too, but I don't buy them anymore because I have shelves full already. And I don't want to end up being an art-loving version of one of those ladies on "Hoarders"! But seriously, you have to be a great artist to make air-brush paintings look good as they do here, which is not to say remotely as good as the sculpture. Methinks, behind this show must have been the desire to create a new market for paintings that probably didn't have much a of market before. Well, they have done it successfully. Because the connections spun between the two genres don't appear utterly annoying, even though the Totemtank seems to occupy a different universe from the spectral sprays of light and shadow. But the show looks even better, by comparison, because they are preceded by Sam Gilliam's colorful used hankies on the stairs. Ah-choo! Sorry for the spray!
